YSL Goes Bow Beautilicious
This season oversize bows have replaced floral blooms as the hair acccessory of choice for the cool set. From the catwalks at Sportmax where the models wore floppy, satin creations to structured preppy bows at Marc by Marc Jacobs or satin ribbons at Luella; the coolest locks are sporting this trend for autumn. Now YSL have got in on the act with their new Christmas beauty collection.
Will You Wear Bows in Your Hair?
With the recent trend for oversize hair bows and ribbon-strewn hair bands, this look is moving into the mainstream. From Jaime Winstone's Minnie Mouse bow to the 80's vogue for tongue-in-cheek hair accessories, it could be time to jump on the bandwagon. Personally, I'm torn between loving this look and it reminding me too much of Christmas 1987 when I was forced to don an unsightly pink satin bow all through dinner, much to the annoyance of my six year old self!

Coronation Street star, Brooke Vincent arrived on the red carpet with tanned skin, heavy peachy-bronze eye shadow and shimmery pink lips. However, the main attraction of her beauty ensemble is an over-sized red polka dot scarf that she tied into a bow and wore as a headband. I happen to think she's adorable, but her bow quite reminds me of Minnie Mouse.

Peaches Geldof became the face of Ultimo lingerie earlier this year with a candy coloured shoot that most of you loved. She back for the festive season with a new campaign as she heads to the fair. Peaches is showing off the new Miss Ultimo collection with coloured bows in her hair and bright stockings.
London Fashion Week, Spring 2010: Luella
Luella is definitely a personal highlight of London Fashion Week. Last season was a slight disappointment, but it looks like all is back on track for Spring. The collection included tea dresses with cute Minnie Mouse style polka dots, cut out heart detailing and voluminous skirts.

Last night at the TCA AMC cocktail reception in California, actress January Jones arrived in a cutesy black-bow frock with her hair styled in a chic coif and perfectly flawless makeup. January always looks amazing, but I like how her makeup isn't too overdone here. With some filler on her brows, a dewy base, a touch of black liner, mascara and finally a tomato red lipstick, this siren makes getting red carpet ready look as easy as pie!
Royal College of Art Menswear MA
I wouldn't normally share menswear designs with you, but yesterday the Royal College of Art's graduate show included a high amount of pieces for guys and they were so good that I couldn't resist sharing them with you. The womenswear was good, but it was really the creativity here that impressed me.
