No silly, Gok Wan isn't designing his own collection of boots, the British television presenter and stylist has recently launched his first ever beauty range for Boots (you know, the chemist chain) called Gorgeous by Gok. I've seen the goodies which have been broken down into seven regimes according to how much time (10, 15, 20 or 60 minutes) you have to pamper yourself. Not only are they pink and purple and fabulous, but they're available now at affordable prices, which makes them great gifts to stash away for the Christmas season.

Self-titled 'TV's nice guy' Gok Wan has left me a bit shell shocked today as I watched this clip of him shopping with '60s icon Cilla Black. Taken from an episode of Gok's Fashion Fix, the clip shows Gok being presumptuous and slightly rude to Cilla as he shares his fashion knowledge whilst she tried on a rather cool leather jacket. She recovers pretty well and ends up leaving him a bit red faced!

Here is the second part of my interview with Gok himself. He is so packed with enthusiasm that just speaking to him for 10 minutes left me feeling great about myself. Gok genuinely cares about women and wants them to look their best.

Last night Gok Wan hosted the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London and I was lucky enough to be invited along. The awards were presented by Ben Shephard and Jenni Falconer as they awarded the best spectacle wearer in Europe and the best celebrity wearers.
The evening (which included a celebrity auction) raised money for children's charity Kidscape which helps children in the UK who are effected by bullying.

PVC or wetlook leggings have been en vogue for several season now. They instantly update a look, are comfortable and go with an array of different outfits. However, this season the trend has stepped up a notch with the introduction of wetlook tights.

Earlier this week Gok Wan cited Adam of Adam and the Ants as one of his style icons and this encourage me to dig out the classic video for 'Prince Charming'. I love the ridiculous pantomime dressing in this video, it's so amazingly '80s and has definitely inspired me for Halloween. I think that Adam actually looks a bit Galliano in this video, which is never a bad thing!
