Fab Worthy: Ear Hat by Peter Jensen for Topshop
The latest designer collaboration to hit Topshop comes from British based designer Peter Jensen. He has been showing at London Fashion Week since Autumn 2006 and is famed for his quirky yet wearable designs.
The young design talent has done a capsule collection for the High Street giant which includes five dresses, shoes and hats.
Fabworthy: Benoite Dress by Reiss
Ordinarily I don't look to Girls Aloud for style advice but when I saw Nicola Roberts sporting this adorable pink dress on the red carpet I couldn't get over how cute it looked. It made Nicola look like a doll, although admittedly that was possibly due to her petite frame.
I recently saw the angular checked dress (£159) in the Kings Road branch of Reiss and couldn't resist showing it to you.
Fabworthy: Eco T-shirts
Whilst researching for Earth Day yesterday I came across many eco t-shirts raising money for a variety of causes. A lot of them feature funky prints on a plain background which is perfect for Spring/Summer with similar styles featuring at Luella and Alexander McQueen.
I already told you about the Luella for Tonic Gen tees but there are also organic cotton tops and a fair trade 'Serene in green' t-shirt from Topshop's fairtrade collection.
Fabworthy: New Look Patent Sandals
Peep-toe sandals are hard to wear in the current climate as you need tights and people are always left divided as to whether that's acceptable! However, if you are to attempt to wear sandals then darker colours are definitely advisable. I love patent heels, I think they make black heels more interesting and appealing which is why these patent sandals are great.
Fab Flash: RHS Chelsea Flower Show Fashion
To commemorate the 2008 RHS Chelsea Flower Show fashion and gardening have combined to create several limited edition items. Liberty of London have created a hand painted scarf showing a beautiful garden.
Manolo Blahnik has designed a limited edition 'Chelsea' shoe with only ten pairs being made.
Fabworthy: Patent Ombre Shoe Boots
Few can resist the lure of beautiful shoes. There seems to be no other item that is even comparable for women in terms of near obsession. Finding a beautiful pair of shoes can change my entire mood.
Fabworthy: Tails Blazer at Topshop
Androgynous clothing is never far from the catwalk and this season masculine tailoring was teamed with pretty summer dresses for a great contrasting look. This was seen at Emporio Armani, Stella McCartney and Matthew Williamson where light coloured blazers were worn to soften the look. We have already seen some of the blazers available but I couldn't resist showing you this tails blazer from Topshop (£50).
Fab Worthy: Ditsy Print Tea Dress
There are plenty of nice floral dresses now available on the High Street but how many can you pick up for under £30?! Not many, especially not as cute as this tea dress. It's available at New Look for just £25 which is probably the best way to bring your wardrobe in to the new season on a budget.
