Burberry made their first venture in to social networking this morning as they launched the Art of the Trench which is a homage to the classic coat. The trench coat has become a wardrobe staple and the brand is synonymous with this style. Christopher Bailey wanted fans of the item to engage with each other by tapping in to their passion for the item.

Temperley London relaunched their website this week meaning you can now shop the entire collection without leaving the comfort of your own home. The boho label designed by Alice Temperley is famous for gorgeous Summery gowns, funky accessories and stylish day dresses. The new transactional site also offers styling tips, history of the design house and a slideshow of stars in Alice's designs.

When I first heard of Wahanda.com I was skeptical. I wasn't quite sure how a website could do for spas, beauty and wellness, what Trip Advisor has done for holidays. However, after speaking with co-owner Salim Mitha, I've come to understand the in's and out's of this year old site site and couldn't wait to tell you guys all about it.

New Look have reported good sales recently and they look likely to stay on top of their game by taking interesting new measures. They have just created this new site called My Look which allows the store to directly co-respond with New Look shoppers to find out how they can change and improve the brand.
This means that you could have a direct impact on the items available in store and online.

Last year Mischa Barton launched her own handbag line which was sold online and at stores in the UK and Australia. She recently extended her empire to include hair bands and has now expanded further launching her own online store.
Mischa's website stocks only the handbags but is ready just in time for her Spring collection.

ModePass is a relatively new addition to the social networking sphere. It was originally set up in July but was invitation only and now is open to all. The site was set up to share street style around the globe and with members from 110 countries it seems it's already achieving that.

Those clever people at Bauer Media who created Grazia and Heat have now extended their empire to include online designer shopping. They're soon to launch online designer store Cocosa which will offer designer pieces at a discounted rate to members only. You have to sign up to the site with the password 'cocosa1' and then await their email informing you of the first sale which is due to happen in late October.

Alexander Longe is a new design label set up in 2006 by Caz Longe and Dee Alexander. They produce stylish leisurewear that is tailored and elegant. Despite being a relatively new design force they already have support from the likes of Sue Elise Nash of Misteeq and Lisa Mafia.
