I don't know about you, but I've always found it difficult to find a facial cleanser that strikes the perfect balance between being too harsh and too gentle. I want my cleanser to remove dirt, grime and residue, but I also don't want it to irritate and dry out my skin.
That's why I'm psyched about discovering Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser from Kiehl's (£17.50).

As a complement to Fresh's Sugar Acaí Age-Delay Body Cream is a brand-new magnificently scented sugar and citrus fruit Body Scrub (£32). Acaí, a Brazilian dark berry is packed with high concentrations of antioxidants, which we know helps fight off free radicals (those nasty cells that cause premature signs of ageing).
Blended with sugar crystals (I'm not ashamed to admit to doing a little taste test), the scrub is hydrating (from the fruit acids), moisturising (from the cupuaçu seed butter and jojoba oil) and as I mentioned earlier, the aroma is totally intoxicating (there's a hint of caramel and bergamot added to make your mouth water).

New from Soap & Glory is a sweet scented, gentle face scrub called The Greatest Scrub of All (£7.82) What makes it so cool is that it not only slews away all of the dry, grey and dead winter skin cells from your face and neck, but it also contains salicylic acid to control sebum, cleanse pores and fight new spots from ever forming.
All you need is a five pence-sized amount to do the trick. However, depending on your skin type, you get to be the judge of how often you use it and how hard you want to rub the silicami spherical beads into your damp skin.

About a month ago, Bliss launched a delectably smelling three part Blood Orange + White Pepper Sugar collection of bath and body products. The range includes a silky Body Butter (£23), an invigorating Bath and Shower Gel (£16) and my favourite, a gritty Sugar Scrub (£28).
This ooey gooey exfoliator is both sweet and spicy.

Because my skin is slightly sensitive, slightly dry and slightly red, it can be quite challenging to find a face scrub that successfully slews away dead skin without causing too much irritation. Alas, I've found something that's almost perfect! Bliss's Pore-Perfecting Facial Polish (£24) is gentle on my skin and it gives me the opportunity to do a mini-at home facial without having to break the bank.

It's recommended to exfoliate your face anywhere between one and three times a week (depending on the sensitivity and type of your skin). I typically average about once a week simply because I forget, or, I'll just get lazy when I'm at the sink.
However, I find that by keeping a gentle product and spa gloves in the shower, it helps remind me to scrub, and moreover, enjoy scrubbing whilst my deep conditioner sets in — how's that for multitasking!

This year marks the tenth anniversary between the Orange BAFTA Awards and Lancôme, and this year, I was lucky enough again to be invited to the Dorchester Hotel where they hosted a suite. Inside, I spoke with lead makeup artist Armand Beasley about his trend forecast for the show, I checked out some of the brand's newest launches, learnt a trick or two about applying false lashes, and got a lesson on how to create perfect brows (but more on that later)!
For now, one of the most exciting products available is a Swarovski encrusted BAFTA cheek palette (£45).

For a perfectly kissable pout, that no-one can resist – summer lips need more than your usual dose of lip gloss.
Regular, yet gently, exfoliating will ensure that your lips stay super soft and young-looking.
Here's how:
- Use simple petroleum jelly and apply generously to the lips.

At the SAG Awards, Australian actress Toni Collette wowed the red carpet with her bronzed skin, flesh-toned dress and long, loose, highlighted amber waves. Knowing Toni from her work in films, she's not one to tan easily, in fact, her skin is quite pale and freckled. That's why I was so impressed with her flawless spray tan which really helped her from looking washed out in her blush gown.

I was introduced to Philosophy Microdelivery Peel Kit (£56) a few of months ago, and ever since it's become a bi-monthly ritual that I can't live without. It's slightly more potent than manual exfoliation, and I love that I can see some pretty amazing results so quickly for an over the counter product. The kit includes two items: a jar of yellow bicarbonate Vitamin C/peptide resurfacing crystal cream, and a bottle of lactic and salicylic acid activating gel.
