London Fashion Week is celebrating it's 25th anniversary this month! There are plenty of celebrations planned and even Transport for London is getting involved. Some of the city's key fashion players have been designing posters which will be adorning zone one of the underground from today with names like Henry Holland, Naomi Campbell and Christopher Bailey creating original artwork to make your commute more stylish!
Love it or Hate it: Lily Allen for Elle UK
This month sees London Fashion Week celebrate it's 25th anniversary and Elle magazine are celebrating the occasion with a very British coverstar. Lily Allen poses in a blonde wig for the publication and a Preen dress as she was shot by Rankin. All of the pieces were made especially for Lily from top London designers including Louise Goldin, Giles, and Burberry.
Fab Cover: Lindsay Lohan for Elle
It's the start of a new month, so lots of exciting covers are being unveiled for the September issues. Lindsay Lohan has bagged the cover of Elle UK with a controversial shoot that resulted in the loss of over £20,000 of Dior jewellery.
The investigation is on going, but unfortunately this means that Lindsay (who Elle are not holding responsilbe) was unable to be shot in any of the items.
Which August Cover Do You Prefer?
August magazines are now hitting newsstands across the country and they make perfect holiday reading. Most of you said you'd be reading Elle on the beach this Summer, but is the cover your favourite too? Supermodel Giselle Bündchen has teamed up with Elle magazine to help raise awareness of AIDS in Africa. She is pictured in over 30 editions of the magazine reaching over 20milion readers. In the UK edition (with Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover) Gisele poses with (RED) products such as Converse boots, Gap t-shirts and the special edition iPod.
