Ten Eco Chic Items
Today is Earth Day across the globe, and to mark the occasion, I have rounded up ten of my favourite eco chic items to share with you. Long gone are the days of unattractive vegan shoes and itchy knitted jumpers. In their place are clever uses of recycled fabrics, fair trade accessories and animal product free clothing lines.

Whilst researching for Earth Day yesterday I came across many eco t-shirts raising money for a variety of causes. A lot of them feature funky prints on a plain background which is perfect for Spring/Summer with similar styles featuring at Luella and Alexander McQueen.
I already told you about the Luella for Tonic Gen tees but there are also organic cotton tops and a fair trade 'Serene in green' t-shirt from Topshop's fairtrade collection.

When shopping at Topshop you can now pick a pair of jeans in your size and decide if you would like a fairtrade pair! Topshop.com now has a whole section dedicated to fairtrade shopping, including denim, t-shirts and leggings. These cropped jeans are perfect for Spring and just £45, not bad for a pair of eco conscious trousers.

You're probably mainly familiar with Laura Bailey for her appearance in the M&S adverts also starring Erin O'Connor and Twiggy amongst others. Laura is an unusual story in the modeling world as she was not discovered until she was 22 years old and shot to fame due to a slightly controversial relationship with Richard Gere.
