Mere days after Chanel opened a temporary boutique in the uber-cool Dover Street Market, Stefano Pilati has announced plans to open a YSL shop in the market, too. Yves Saint Laurent will open their first ever stand-alone Edition 24 space with theatrical set designer Michael Howells creating the space.
It launched on July 3 with a party hosted by Pilati as the boutique opens on the third floor.

Agyness Deyn partied at the Chanel boutique opening last night alongside BFF Henry Holland. She wore Chanel including a tiny quilted handbag on her arm (featured on the catwalk on legs!) she also wore red gloves (very Karl Lagerfeld). But what do you think of her look?

If you thought Dover Street Market was cool before, check it out now whilst it houses a temporary Chanel boutique. A month ago we told you that Chanel planned to open a temporary boutique in the fashion haven selling the the Métiers d'Arts Paris-Londres collection. Well, it opened yesterday with a bang as the likes of Daphne Guinness, Agyness Deyn, Jade Parfit and Henry Holland celebrated.

Another bank holiday weekend is nearly upon us and it seems we will not be short of things to do. This week Dover Street Market are hosting a market (hence 2 'markets' in the title) selling off vintage pieces from all Comme des Garçons collections between Fall/Winter 2004 and Spring/Summer 2007 alongside pieces by Pierre Hardy, Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, Dior Homme, John Galliano, and Nina Ricci to name but a few.
The sale is taking place at 1 Howick Place, SW1 on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th May from 10 til 7.

Karl Lagerfeld is obviously growing to love London, and why wouldn't he?! Last December, Chanel presented the pre fall collection here in London attracting plenty of celebrity attention. Now, it has been announced that Chanel plan to open a temporary boutique in the city's Dover Street Market from June 9th to 26th.

Start saving your pennies ladies as this September not one, but two pop-up stores are arriving in the capital. First up, is Gap's touring pop-up store which will be based at Kingly Court (just off Carnaby Street).
You might wonder why we need a Pop-up version of the High Street giant, but this one off boutique will offer many limited edition pieces from collaborations with Pierre Hardy and will also house an exhibition of Garance Dore's work.

Last night marked the much anticipated launch of 'Daphne,' the new eponymous fragrance by Daphne Guinness. The scent, which is a collaboration between Comme des Garcons and the heiress has a woody, tangy juice which includes a blend of saffron, patchouli, amber, incense, vanilla, rose centifolia,Tunisian jasmine, tuberose, iris, oud and bitter orange. According to an interview with W Magazine, the fragrance was inpsired by personal meaning from her homes and her travels.

Deep, dark and edgy purple nail polish is the new it colour for Winter. It's the star shade of the brand-new Chanel Bohemian Fantasy collection (more on this later), it's the most vibrant varnish from Essie's Her Royal Hotness range, and Nails Inc. has named this newbie Dover Street Market, after a chic and hip Mayfair shop.
