Apparently, sales of false eyelashes have gone up 6.2 percent in the US alone this year, raking in a staggering $44 million.

Ever since they first launched in 2000 I've been hooked on Lancôme's Juicy Tubes, so I was excited to see they are launching a new range to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The special limited edition range has been designed by Japanese Artist Yayoi Kusama and is set to go on sale exclusively at Debenhams on April 1st (£10).

High Street store Debenhams recently decided to embrace the variety of shapes of women which shop at their store by introducing curvier mannequins. There has been a growing trend for plus size models so it makes sense that this should pass down to retail. The average British woman is between a 14 and a 16 so it is definitely more representative.

Careful girls! Your makeup bag might be past its prime. According to research revealed by retailer Debenhams yesterday, the average British woman's makeup bag is four years out of date, which is bad news as old products can potentially cause irritation and hazardous skin infections.

We’re used to getting our standard night creams, lipstick supplies and fragrance from department stores, but now Debenhams is taking its beauty services a step further with the introduction of Botox.
According to The News of The World yesterday, the department store opened its first Mediskin Cosmetic Laser Clinic at its Newcastle store last Tuesday offering Botox injections for £170. The treatments take 45 minutes in total, including a quick consultation.

Last year, High Street store Principles became one of the victims of the credit crunch when the store went in to administration.
Debenhams acquired the store and yesterday relaunched the brand within it's department stores across the country under the careful supervision of Ben de Lisi.
The American born designer already created a capsule range for Debenhams, but has now revived this brand.

When compiling a Jordan Halloween costume last year, I included a set of joke shop inflatable boobs and thats all that I thought they were – a joke! Well, Debenhams have taken on the idea in their latest lingerie collection by offering women an instant boob job without surgery. The small chicken fillet sized pads (£5 for a pair) can easily be inflated and can add one cup size and can be inserted in to your bra.
