Last night, red carpets from across the Atlantic were lined with lovely ladies wearing black lace, body-con clothing. Abigail Clancy and Daisy Lowe (in Jexika) were spotted at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in the UK wearing black lace dresses, whilst Brooke Burke attended the Warrior premiere in a lace dress, and Khloe Kardashian made an appearance on a TV talk show in New York also wearing a black lace blouse. This style always walks a fine line between classy and trashy, depending on the type of lace and how the outfit is styled. Glamour's Women of the Year Awards sure lived up to its name last night. With a fabulous guest list and ladies walking the red carpet in gorgeous dresses, everyone dressed to the nines to celebrate women! I especially appreciated the pops of colour, such as Fearne Cotton's yellow frock, Alexandra Burke's pink floral number Katherine Jenkins coral cocktail ensemble. Also, check out the splashes of green, which happens to be one of my favourite tones. Kirsty Gallacher wore an all-green gown, Daisy Lowe donned a green clutch, and Louise Redknapp wore green beaded earrings. I love how Summer brings out a little brightness in everyone. On Saturday night in London, all of our favourite ladies from the silver screen gathered at the Grosvenor House for the 2011 Philips British Academy Television Awards. TV hostess Cat Deeley was decked in a floor-length black gown with lace detail and Daisy Lowe also wore black. Kara Tointon wore a pretty ballet-pink gown with crystal detail, whilst Amy Childs was the most outrageous in a gold dress with toole and mylar on the skirt. I love Cat's classic form-fitting dress best, but think that all of the ladies look lovely. Whose dress do you like best?

Liv Tyler looked fierce at Givenchy, in the same shirt as Kanye West, and they were joined at the show by Noomi Repace and Florence Welch.
