Jamie Roy | December 21, 2010 1:00 pmWhat can I say — I'm a sucker for a steal! So, when I saw the line up from Dirty Works, a new to the UK range of bath, body and skincare products (available only at Sainsbury's) for a fraction of what I pay for my fabulous (and quite similarly packaged) Soap & Glory products, I simply had to share the news with my fellow beauty product junkies!Read More

FabSugarUK | May 19, 2010 1:15 pmMy girlfriends and I have spent a lot of time lately debating what could possibly happen in the new Sex and the City Movie. We've been over everything in the trailer and have had the Aiden vs Big argument more times than I care to remember! I have also been pondering over the wardrobe choices as since the last film came out, the news has been dominated by the recession, but could Carrie really be making designer sacrifices?Read More

FabSugarUK | December 22, 2009 2:00 pmThe recession has unfortunately been an ongoing tale in the world over the past few years. There have been many victims in the fashion world, but this year the two which have stood out for me are Christian Lacroix and Luella. BellaSugarUK | November 27, 2009 1:14 pmI just love it when I find a good bargain, especially on beauty products during the expensive holiday season. My good pal, BellaSugar US is also a fan of scouting out deals and she's found quite a few high street or chemist products that look just like designer ones!
So when I saw these amazing Treaclemoon Bath and Shower Gels that sell for £2.89, I was so excited, as they have an uncanny resemblance in both their fragrances and packaging to the Philosopy versions that sell for £13.60.Read More
FabSugarUK | November 10, 2009 3:30 pmI unfortunately have to break some very sad news to you as one of London's best loved fashion labels, Luella, is no more. The announcement came today as WWD revealed that the long term investor Club 21 have walked away from the design house.
According to a statement, VSQ Limited who operated the Luella business have reluctantly “taken the decision not to invest further in its relationship with Luella Bartley Limited.” Bartley commented,
"This is a very disappointing situation for everyone involved with the brand…I very much appreciate the support that VSQ has given me, but it is upsetting not to be able to protect jobs in this difficult economic climate.Read More
