2010 National Television Awards: Helen Flanagan
Coronation Street star, Helen Flanagan looks beautiful in a navy Temperely frock and ultralong, eyelashes. Her sweet demeanor matches her sweet-coloured pink lipstick and I absolutely love the dense metallic copper eyeliner she has going on, as it It really picks up the gold embellishment in her dress.
Helen's hair is simple, but for this look, it doesn't bother me at all.
2008 National Television Awards: Michelle Keegan
Manchester native and now Coronation Street soap star, Michelle Keegan, dazzled in an elegant strapless gown on the red carpet. However, what struck me most about her look wasn't her dress, or her makeup, but her long and bouffant jet black hair. I particularly like how there's height at the crown and volume around her face as opposed to laying lifeless or simple and stick straight.

I am particularly loving Kym Marsh's bright yellow bandeau dress, it compliments her skin tone perfectly and really makes her stand out. The 2009 British Soap Awards are not just a celebration of British television, they are also a chance for the stars to get dressed up and compete to be the best dressed! This year the Hollyoaks girls gave the other soaps a run for their money, particularly Emma Rigby who wore Temperley and Ashley Slanina-Davies in Lanvin. Kara Tointon flew the flag for Eastenders in a feathery nude frock with peep toe heels, whilst Kym Marsh represented Coronation Street in a one shoulder teal number.

This weekend I'm on the move to check out the fashion on offer in the capital of the North, Manchester. Having been to Manchester before I'm already aware how good the shopping is here. There's a Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and a big Louis Vuitton store but this weekend I wanted to find out what else is on offer.
Love It or Hate It? Brooke Vincent's Minnie Mouse Hair Bow
Coronation Street star, Brooke Vincent arrived on the red carpet with tanned skin, heavy peachy-bronze eye shadow and shimmery pink lips. However, the main attraction of her beauty ensemble is an over-sized red polka dot scarf that she tied into a bow and wore as a headband. I happen to think she's adorable, but her bow quite reminds me of Minnie Mouse.

Audrey Hepburn sports a stylish beehive in Breakfast at Tiffany's, whilst in Hairspray, set in 1962, Tracy Turnblad's beehive gets ever taller and more flamboyant, as she joins the social scene.
