Earlier this month, Katie Smith was crowned the winner of our online stylist award at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham. Katie worked hard to make her look work by really putting in the homework and finding out what the pieces looked like in the flesh. Part of her prize for winning involved her styling a shoot in London with her ensemble. Click through to see photos from the shoot.
Last week, Katie Smith was crowned the winner of our Online Stylist competition at the 2010 Clothes Show Live. All of the finalists created their look on a model and presented their ensembles to the judges. Katie impressed us with her background research and mixed textures, and here she is with her model and her award! It's a busy time here at FabUK as we're gearing up for the 2010 Clothes Show Live in Birmingham! We, together with ShopStyle UK, have been on the search for an upcoming online stylist and are now down to our final three contestants. We will be choosing the winner on Wednesday 8th December, after the final three show their designs on the catwalk – and we'd love you to be there too!

Now that Britain's Next Top Model Live is over, I'm looking to the future and that includes The Clothes Show Live in Birmingham! As part of the event, ShopStyle UK is holding a stylist competition and all you have to do to enter is create a fashion stylebook and post it in this group. Victoria Christen was the lucky winner (she's pictured on the left looking very glam). She told us about her evening saying,
When we got in the cinema, every seat had a bottle of champagne, chocolates, water and a souvenir magazine to look at. The screen showed Gok Wan interviewing the cast members and celebs were being filmed in their gorgeous outfits. Before the film started the cast got on stage and gave a speech. The film was fantastic and lived up to the hype. It was a great night and a great atmosphere in the cinema with everyone looking glam.
