Behind the Seams: Comme des Garcons for H&M Preview
I've been kicking myself all morning as soon as it hit me that the tall woman I saw walking past me on Regent Street last night was Jourdan Dunn! Vogue hosted an evening at the H&M store and provided a preview of the Comme des Garcons for H&M range, giving shoppers a chance at first dibbs. I went along, albeit later than Ms.

Here in the UK we might have to wait until Thursday to get our hands on the Comme des Garcons for H&M collection but in Japan over 2000 people have already shopped the collection.
Lots of people have been queuing for days (in the rain) waiting for the bargain designer collaboration. The line includes polka dot tops, funky blazers and trench coats.
Comme des Garcons for H&M Is Nearly Here
It's nearly November which means it's nearly time for the latest designer collaboration at H&M and this year it's the turn of Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons. The collection is due to hit Tokyo on 8th November and then 200 other stores across the UK on November 13th.
This week H&M have started to reveal more details about the range including prices and key pieces.

Back in April we revealed that Comme des Garcons were collaborating with H&M for the next high street/designer collaboration. The capsule line is due to hit stores in November (which is sure to cause queues of people down Oxford Street) and we can now give you an exclusive preview of some of the pieces. Comme des Garcons are famous for quirky designs so I was intrigued to see how they would lend this style to the High Street.

Designer collaborations at H&M are becoming an annual event and one which fashionistas can't help but get excited about. It's the perfect opportunity to get your hands on designer pieces for well under £100! Following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf and Roberto Cavalli comes Comme des Garcons who announced their collaboration with the high Street store today.

Comme des Garcons are busy making friends this year. We already announced that the Japanese fashion house would be collaborating with H&M for a High Street collection due to be released in November but now they have also revealed plans to work with Louis Vuitton.
Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons and Louis Vuitton are going to join forces and open a store together in Tokyo in September.
On Our Radar: Matthew Williamson for H&M
This morning it has been announced that Matthew Williamson will create a capsule collection for H&M for Summer 2009. Hot on the heels of Rei Kawakabo of Comme des Garcons who launched a capsule collection just a few weeks ago, Williamson will produce mens and womenswear for the High Street store. The womenswear will debut on 23rd April and then May will see Williamsons first ever foray in to menswear.
