Nicola Formichetti presented his first womenswear collection for Thierry Mugler last night as part of Paris Fashion Week. The show was theatrical so I couldn't resist sharing a video with you. The main star of the show was Lady Gaga who walked in the show (as expected) alongside top models Coco Rocha and Jessica Stam. The models really give a performance in this show, although the shoes seem to provide a challenge for some! It was a very sexy collection with tight fitting pieces in PVC and rubber with statement shoulders in a palette of black, nude and cobalt. Wedged between the BAFTAs and the BRITs during this year's award season was the Elle Style Awards, held last night in London. Vivienne Westwood presented Emma Watson with the Style Icon award, although she had no idea who she is. Alexa Chung hosted the event and hung out with friends including Nick Grimshaw at the afterparty, while Cheryl Cole wore an eye-catching red dress and picked up the best music award. Anna Wintour hosted a party in New York last night celebrating some of the UK's hottest designer names. Some of New York's best loved British ex-pats attended the party including Ed Westwick and Georgia May Jagger along with designers Louise Gray and Justin Thornton of Preen. Models Alexandra Richards and Coco Rocha were also there along with Coco's British husband! Anna wore a beautiful Erdem coat as she partied for the London designer showrooms in the US which showcase British talent. Names involved in the project (which closed last night) included Holly Fulton, Michael van der Ham and David Koma.
