Prada's younger sister Miu Miu has always been popular with young stylish ladies, but the Spring collection seems to have particularly struck a chord with celebrities and mere mortals alike. Trend Alert: Nudes and Flesh Tones at the Golden Globes
Hollywood has had a busy weekend with two major award shows bringing together some of the biggest names in the industry. The red carpet for the Golden Globes was packed with high glamour frocks from design houses like Versace, Marchesa and Christian Dior. I noticed a lot of neutral and flesh tones (very on trend for Spring '10) so here is a round up of some of my favourite looks.

Trend Alert: Thistle-Coloured Lipstick
Thistle is a pinky-purple hue that packs a lot of punch even though it's considered a pastel. It was always a favourite crayon colour of mine until it was retired in 2000, but just because Crayola dissed it doesn't mean that it's unpopular in the makeup world. In fact, celebrities like Chloe Sevigny, Lil Kim and Whitney Port have all painted their pouts thistle recently, proving that it can be worn all year round.

Chloe Sevigny attended the 30th Anniversary gala of the MOCA gallery in Los Angeles last night. She went for a fun feminine look with soft colours and bejewelled detailing. The top has a high neckline with ruffles and she wore it with yellow strappy sandals.

That isn't to say that they wear revealing clothing, but rather that they're opting for a subtle colour palette drawing on various natural shades. This week, two of our favourite ladies have opted to go nude on the red carpet, but don't worry – nobody's modesty was compromised! Both Chloe Sevigny and Diane Kruger stepped out in on trend neutral frocks. Diane's revealed a bit of cleavage at the Berlin Inglorious Basterds premiere, where as Chloe showed off her enviable pins in killer sandals.

Super cool Chloe Sevigny was showing off her impressive pins earlier in the week as she attended a party in New York City. She wore a statement tee for the occasion which she tucked in to some vintage denim shorts. Chloe finished off the look with some funky ankle boots and a slouchy shoulder bag whilst a grey cardigan kept her warm.
