The Victoria's Secret angels gathered in New York yesterday in preparation for the show which takes place this evening. Models like Chanel Iman, Jessica Stam, Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima posed for photos in matching ensembles which included a printed tee and a leather jacket. Some of the angels from last year's lineup, including the only Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, were absent due to other commitments. Both Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr are currently pregnant so are not taking part. You can check out the photos from last year here. Are you excited to see the 2010 show?

New York Fashion Week is in full swing after yesterday's Project Runway show, and last night Karl Lagerfeld attracted lots of fashion fans to the Chanel SoHo boutique's reopening. Following Fashion Night's Out catwalk show earlier in the week, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were together again, and joined by their Gossip Girl costar Chace Crawford. Alexa Chung was in NYC after her time in London at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, and her fellow Brit Daisy Lowe was also there. My girl FabUK has the lowdown on all the stylish partygoers.

Rachel Bilson swapped her LA uniform of short shorts for a minidress, and Diane Kruger also went for a leg-baring number. Sarah Jessica Parker opted for floor-length and fabulous, while Claire Danes kept it casual in jeans. Wowza! I've been checking out the photos from the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that took place in New York City last night and they are smoking h-o-t! The Angels are scantily clad in custom lingerie, dripping in accessories and have added five or so inch heels to their already lengthy legs.

But instead of feeling insecure, I just embrace their beauty and focus on their amazing hair (yes, they're all wearing extensions) and their dewy and sparkly-looking pink makeup.

To recreate this look at home, begin with a clean, hydrated and well moisutrised face. Then, apply a primer, followed by concealer to any red areas or spots, and medium-coverage foundation to the face, neck and decolletage. Next, dust a translucent setting powder all over and buff it to a natural finish by using a clean and fluffy brush.
