The catwalks are still consumed by style mavens and designers at Paris Fashion Week. We've talked about some of the hair and makeup trends from London and New York, and now it's time to take a peek at the pretty ladies of Paris. We already know that red lipstick reigned on the runways, but what's hot for hair in 2010?

Last night at the Television BAFTA Awards, the most popular hairstyle of the evening was centre parts. This is a familiar style that we typically see on celebrities at affairs. I love the way the lengths on those that wore their hair down was unstructured and for Louise Redknapp and Tamara Beckwith, they let tendrils fall loosely to the wayside for a more casual effect.

Cat Deeley looks peachy keen at tonight's Brit Awards. With long, loose curls and a centre part, this hairstyle has reigned supreme on the red carpet for the last few consecutive years.
I especially love the pale highlights around her face and her bronzed skin complemented by her apricot cheeks and shiny, sheer lips.

Michelle Williams is currently residing in London to play the part of Roxie Hart in the theatre production of Chicago. On the left, we see her most recently with a classic Louise Brooks bob, the signature cut for the part, in the center her hair is shorter on one side than on the other and a few months ago she was pictured at MTV in New York with long, layered and two-toned hair. Out of these three hairstyles which do you like the most on Michelle?

Last night at the Metroplitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute Gala, British model Agyness Deyn took a nod from Marilyn Monroe when constructing her beauty look. Her silver dress and platinum hair was a clear shout of to Old Hollywood, and her makeup also reflected a classical beauty look with hints of edgy and sexy as a modern twist (note her structured smoky eyes).

One of the collections that I really liked from London Fashion Week, was Noir/Bllack Noir. Everything was a gothic black and white with the exception of one strapless, flowy navy, almost Angelina Jolie-inspired dress. The makeup was edgy and rich with a focus on dark eyes, a contoured face and uber-pale lips.

As expected, the Betty Jackson Fashion Show knew how to appeal to the masses. There was a mix of flowy and tailored pieces in an array of burnt browns, yellows and grays perfect for Autumn. The makeup was classical, with a dark-lined eye, structured cheek and a red lip, however, the colour was applied to the center of the mouth only giving it a modern twist.

Steve J and Yoni P are relatively new names to the fashion spectrum but already have a Topshop collaboration under their belts and have now shown their fourth collection to London Fashion Week. Both designers were born in Korea (their show today took place at the Korean center) but trained in London at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion.
Today the show used models and ballerinas to present their collection.

Young British designer Gareth Pugh recently took his collection to Paris Fashion Week but it seems he now wants to add more to his CV by launching a fragrance. Along with the equally controversial designer Jeremy Scott and London based duo Preen the designers are turning their noses to creating a perfume as part of the Six Scents Fragrance Initiative.
The initiative raises funds for the Designers Against AIDS International AIDS Awareness Education Center in Antwerp, Belgium.
