Madras was once a staple in the Summer during the 80s, but, like everything else in fashion, it took a repreive and then came back again. Kate Hudson was just spotted on the set of her new movie Good People in London earlier this week wearing a muted madras shirt, Alex Gerrard wore madras shorts on a run in Liverpool, and in New York, stylist Brad Goreski wore a mash up of madras to the CFDA Awards. Shop a multitude of madras clothing items below and leave a comment to let me know what you think of this bright, plaid print.

Blake Lively managed to show some skin in a suit last night at Barneys New York's launch of "Gaga's Workshop." The bright blue Elie Saab look was finished off with lace-embellished shoulders. It was her latest daring look after wearing a revealing Marchesa number Saturday to the Gossip Girl 100-episodes celebration. We caught a moment with the actress, and Blake Lively shared her holiday must-haves. She told us she's currently buying lots of Chanel and Brunello Cucinelli for the colder weather.
Lady Gaga herself was on hand to celebrate the opening of her holiday collaboration with the iconic department store. Gaga was decked out for the occasion in a white Chanel gown that was customized by Karl Lagerfeld. Fans can browse a jewelry nook, a bookstore, and a boudoir that sell over 170 limited-edition Gaga-themed products as well as some of her favorite items from childhood. The store-within-a-store is open now and will be until Jan. 2, 2012.
Beyoncé Knowles stepped out in a cutout black gown at the opening of Tory Burch's new flagship store on Madison Avenue in NYC last night. The jersey and leather Michael Kors dress was worn by Leighton Meester earlier this year at The Roommate premiere, though Beyoncé had her growing baby bump hiding underneath. Beyoncé was joined by Brad Goreski, Serena Williams, Russell Simmons, and others at the celebration. It was a busy day for the pregnant star, who also attended a few Fashion Week shows. She sat front row with her sister, Solange, at J.Crew in the morning and later changed into a short dress to catch the Rodarte and Vera Wang presentations. Beyoncé's been on the go all week after being spotted in the stands with Jay-Z at the US Open finals on Monday.
