Are Celebrities in the Front Row Important to the Brand?
This week details have been revealed about how much celebrities get paid to sit in the front row at fashion shows. Amongst those discussed are A listers Beyonce Knowles (who gets $80,000-$100,000), Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen ($80,000 each) and Chloe Sevigny ($60,000 or more). However, it seems the top dog is Rihanna who gets a staggering $100,000 or more to sit pretty.
2010 Grammy Awards Trend: Long, Dramatic Gowns
The 2010 Grammy Awards took place overnight in Los Angeles celebrating some of the biggest names in American music. The red carpet was packed with stars including Beyonce Knowles, Nicole Kidman, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Whilst looking through the red carpet images I noticed a lot of floor sweeping gowns – many with dramatic hemlines.
Celebrity Style: Beyonce Hearts New Look
Beyonce Knowles is in London this week as she hangs out with her beau Jay-Z and attends Rihanna's album launch. Whilst in town, she decided to embrace the local love for High Street by wearing pieces from Topshop, Reiss and New Look. Beyonce wore two pieces from the New Look Idol collection which already has an impressive celebrity fan base.

The stars didn't just have fun with style on the red carpet, they also played with looks throughout the show. The host, Katy Perry, began the evening in a floor sweeping pink gown, but she soon upped the stakes with revealing ensembles. However, she wasn't the only one making a statement, Beyonce, Leona Lewis and Shakira also made their mark.

Beyonce had one of the most memorable stage outfits last year as she worked an edgy piece by Gareth Pugh. This year she has gone for something much softer with a long, pale pink, Atelier Versace mermaid-gown. The dress has a geometic corset with metallic panels.
Celebrity Style: Everyone's Wearing Balmain
This season's Balmain collection was one of my favourite Autumn shows. Christophe Decarnin continued with his tried and tested rock chick style for a style that has obviously pleased the A-list. Carine and Julia Roitfeld are already big fans, and both wore Balmain to the amfAR event last year.
