Beyoncé's worn a whole lot of covetable clothes — whether on tour or on Instagram in Topshop — but this might have been a first for her! While filming a music video in NYC yesterday, the pop star shied from her usual designer duds and picked a red Burberry trench with gold accents at the lapel and metallic silver pumps. We might have to wait until the video premieres to see the full styled look, but we smell the sparks of a future power couple. And, the question begs to be answered: will Beyoncé be replacing Sienna Miller as the face of the label any time soon? Maybe with her husband, like these ads? Could we be that lucky?
As soon as it was finally confirmed that former Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière was replacing Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton, our minds began reeling with the possibilities. The man behind 15 years of daring designs and often surprising accessories will certainly bring his own flavour to his post as artistic director.
While we wait to see just what that will be, we're keeping our fingers crossed that these iconic looks are a bit of an indication.
With Summer finally here, we're taking it as an opportunity to totally revamp our sunglasses collection. And who better to draw inspiration from than our favorite celebrities, who practically live in the coolest pairs all year round.
There's Miranda Kerr, who owns several statement spectacles, and Kate Hudson, who isn't afraid to spice things up with some color. We're also all over Kate Moss's latest white cat-eye pair and give props to Gwen Stefani for always matching her loud style with equally bold shades. But that's only the beginning. Londoners got a major treat when singers like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Mary J. Blige, and Ellie Goulding belted out their famous tunes for a good cause at The Sound of Change Live concert presented by Gucci as part of its Chime For Change campaign. The evening raised $4.3 million in ticket sales and will fund about 200 projects in 70 countries around the world — all in support of girls' and women's empowerment. Beyoncé, who performed a special 45-minute set as the show's headliner, looked flawless in a black sheer and leather Gucci ensemble. Other stars that didn't need to sing to look stunning were Zoe Saldana, Freida Pinto, Blake Lively, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Head inside for the full scoop on what everyone wore to this spectacular London affair here!
One of the first things we spotted when Beyoncé shared snaps of her and Jay-Z's recent anniversary trip to Cuba was her smashing Tabitha Simmons striped espadrille sneakers ($395). Against the backdrop of her black blazer and leather pants, they stood out in the best way. Even if you're not jet-setting to exotic locales like Bey, you can still get her look locally. Work her exact Simmons espadrilles into your Summer wardrobe with everything from dresses to denim cutoffs. We also love the idea of sporting them with other bold patterns for a mixed-prints styling. The 2013 Billboard Music Awards are rolling into Las Vegas on Sunday. It's shaping up to be a great show, with Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, and Lil Wayne scheduled to perform, while Madonna will be honored with the Top Touring Artist award. Before we check out all the action this weekend, though, we're taking a look back at the Billboard fun in years past. Remember when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey took the stage together in 2003 or when Britney Spears heated things up with Rihanna in 2011? Click through to see all the photos, and check back later for coverage from the show!
One of the most exciting things to happen as of late: Beyoncé kicked off her Mrs. Carter world tour in Serbia. First, we got a glimpse of her costume sketches by Emilio Pucci, just one of the designers to collaborate on her epic tour wardrobe. And now we finally get to see them come to life on stage. As you can imagine, the singer did not disappoint in sequins, leotards, curve-hugging jumpsuits, baseball caps, and sheer details — but that's just the beginning. Head inside to see some of our favorite Beyoncé looks (so far), fresh from the Mrs. Carter tour. Then, check back for any new ensembles as they appear.
H&M has tapped Beyoncé to be the face of its Summer campaign. And with her Mrs. Carter world tour under way, today marks the simultaneous launch of the singer's H&M commercial, too. The video, along with the advert images, show Beyoncé lounging on the beach in the Bahamas, looking (not surprisingly) amazing in a flurry of H&M swimming costumes and beachy cover-ups. But here's the best part: the commercial also features her new song, "Standing on the Sun," which feels (and sounds) just as Summer-perfect as the pieces she's wearing. Click on for a look at the commercial, plus the latest campaign images, inside the gallery.
Looking red hot in a form fitting Alice by Temperly dress Tuesday night in New York City, Beyoncè and her mother Tina Knowles attended the after party following Jay Z's big concert. Sporting royal blue nails inspired by her daugher Blue Ivy from British beauty brand Nails Inc, Beyoncè's manicurist Lisa Logan tweeted, "Check out Beyonce's blue nails called Baker Street by Nails Inc. I love this color!"
For an even better close up of her nails and her tattoo, check out the latest photos on PopSugar.com here. Baker Street will be available from March for £11 per bottle. What do you think of this bright blue nail varnish?
High heels, diamond earrings, leather pants — when it comes to superb style, sometimes the best things really do come in pairs. We saw some pretty fashionable couples hitting the red carpet this year, and there are five in particular that had our hearts racing. Parents-to-be Beyoncé and Jay-Z turned it out at multiple awards shows and industry galas and showed covetable street style as well. Another musical pair, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, stepped out in cool, rocker-chic ensembles, while the Beckhams solidified their place in fashion royalty by donning stately, classic British looks. Tom Brady took his chiseled physique off the field, hitting the red carpet with bombshell wife Gisele Bundchen — and he clearly picked up some model poses from her. Diane Kruger's enviable style may have rubbed off on her beau, Joshua Jackson, this year as well — the pair attended fashion and film events looking effortlessly chic and perfectly complementary. So tell us — which celebrity couple had the hottest style this year? Click through and cast your vote now!
