Well, that was fun: another Fashion Month has come and gone. Now that we've had time to regroup, it seems like this one was a lot more eventful than seasons past. Certainly a lot of the excitement had to do with the new arrivals at Dior and Saint Laurent, but those weren't the only happenings that caused a stir this month. From the critic who got into public spats with two high-profile designers to the most recognizable accessory of the season, we examine the reasons why the Spring 2013 collections will stick out in our minds for years to come.

- Prada CEO Patrizio Bertelli — Miuccia Prada's husband — said recently that while counterfeit Prada bags aren't necessarily good for the company, they're not bad, either. "We're happier to have them than not have them," he said. "Don't you think it's sad for a brand that no one wants to copy them?" [Styleite]

Previous sales were available by private appointment only. Proceeds from the pieces will benefit Jolie's charitable foundation the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. [Elle]
br> - Singer Beth Ditto had some choice words for Karl Lagerfeld for calling Adele "a little too fat" earlier this year. "Karl Lagerfeld used to be this really fat, eccentric dude," she said. "To me, only a person who was fat could get away with saying something like that." [Fashion Etc.]

Beth Ditto Gets Her Own MAC Line
Singer Beth Ditto has long been known for her avant-garde fashion sense and experimental approach to hair color and makeup, but now MAC is giving her the chance to share her creative vision with the rest of us. WWD reports that Beth's limited-edition collection is expected to hit MAC counters come June. The first image from her campaign has just been released, and if the shades on display are any indication, we're in for bold, bright colors and lots of matte textures. We're most excited about the possibility of cool nail polishes, though — Beth's pink, yellow, and black manicure above looks both cutting edge and surprisingly wearable.

Summer's Most Extreme Music Festival Hair and Makeup Looks
Warm-weathered times equal music festivals galore: Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, Warped Tour, and the like. Throughout the past few months, there have been plenty of fresh eye makeup styles and high-to-the-sky hairstyles to go along with these free-spirited occasions. Whether they're sparkly or require 10 different styling products to be achieved, these looks demand to be seen. Since Labor Day, the unofficial change of the season has come and gone, so let's take a trip down memory lane to recap some beauty highlights from the past several months.

Sneak Peek! Beth Ditto's Plus-Size Evans Collection
You have to wait until Thursday to get your hands on Beth Ditto's plus-size collection, but here's a sneak peek to get you excited. If you recall, the American singer recently partnered with the Topshop-affiliated UK brand, Evans, after she performed at Topshop's flagship store in London. Disco-style sequined tunics, domino-print dresses and tunics, and draped jumpsuits are some of the sassy plus-size offerings. Beth has already been spotted wearing the domino pieces. Get a closer lookie at Beth and her collection.
Kate and Jamie Join Beth to Party in a Major Way
Kate Moss and Jamie Hince got dressed up in London last night to toast Beth Ditto at the launch of her new plus-sized clothing line for the store Evans. Beth posed for photos with Philip Green, whose company Arcadia owns Evans, in addition to Topshop. Fresh off a quick trip to Paris, the night also apparently presented Kate with another opportunity to show off her singing skills, as she took the stage with Beth to belt out a karaoke rendition of "Major Tom."

Love It or Hate It? Beth Ditto Does Drama
A few years ago, I interviewed Beth Ditto of Gossip, and she was as smart and opinionated then as she is now — except now, she's a darling of the fashion world. Her Beth Ditto for Evans plus-sized clothing line is now available in merry olde England, and she joined Sir Phillip Green and Kate Moss to celebrate its launch last night. Coming from the punk-rock scene, Beth is no stranger to trying out-of-the-ordinary looks (check out her dye jobs). This time around, she went for major makeup drama, no doubt knowing she'd make a statement. Do you love the risk or not?
