We all know that two heads are better than one and the following are great examples of how collaborations can be more successful than starring solo. In 2008, some of the hottest women in show business from Britain and America worked with beauty experts to create several new and exciting hair care, hairstyling and makeup collections. Earlier in the week we awarded Kate Moss the Best British style icon with Alexa Chung taking up best newcomer but today it's a joint award for Best International Style Icon. You voted but were torn between Gossip Girl Blake Lively and actress Kate Bosworth. Blake Lively's style in the TV show is based on Kate Moss creating a very British look. Kate Bosworth has been on our radar a lot this year wearing the best of Chloe, Burberry Prorsum and Phillip Lim. Congratulations ladies!
Throughout December you've been voting for your favourites of the year and I've been announcing the winners, and now it's time for the final award: favourite British male of 2008.
There are lots of great guys in this category, so I struggled to narrow down the choice to ten. Most of the finalists received a similar number of votes, but one edged in to the lead to be crowned winner: James McAvoy.
The Scottish actor has had an award-winning year, and I can't wait to see what he does in 2009.

From Serena's long blond hair and metallic eye shadows, to Blair's collection of alice bands and pink lip glosses, Jenny's trendy fringe and Vanessa's alternative style, these ladies know how to play up their hair and makeup to perfection. So what if London doesn't have an Upper East side, their chic and impeccable beauty totally translates across the Atlantic.
Here's another fun fact since we're talking about TV beauties. Did you know that X Factor newcomer Cheryl Cole has topped three of Britain's beauty polls? Not only was she was named Superdrug's beauty icon of the year and Heat magazine's fittest British female celebrity body, but you all voted her favourite British Female on PopSugar UK! As if all eyes haven't been on Cheryl for a while already, don't look away just yet. Things are just beginning to warm up for this 25 year old hottie.

A whole host of British female celebrities having been making waves not only on our shores, but internationally too, from models and actresses to singers and working mums. An overwhelming majority chose Cheryl Cole as your favourite British female of 2008, and thanks to her strong performance as X Factor judge, I have agree with you! Emma Watson came a worthy second.

Throughout the festive season Bella UK and I have been asking you to vote on the Best of 2008. Now that the year is coming to a close we've been delivering the results of your votes and the winners of the Sugar awards! Today I'm reporting back on the winner of the Most Stylish Brit throughout the year and you have voted Kate Moss as your most stylish. The supermodel turns 35 next month but that doesn't stop her impressing you with her vintage, casual looks. She released many collections with Topshop in 2008 and has just signed a three year deal ensuring that her designs will be available for a while yet.
Kate was followed closely by Victoria Beckham who has won you over this year with her dressed up ensembles.
