Do You Do You Hair or Your Makeup First?
After I get out of the bath or shower, I lotion up, add product to my hair and then I let it air dry a bit whilst I start on my makeup. But after talking with some friends, I've noticed that they're pretty evenly split between applying their makeup first and drying their hair first. It sure looks like Jessica Simpson is a fan of the latter.
If You Could Name a Hair Salon, What Would You Call It?
I was thinking about some of the things I'd love to do if I didn't write about beauty all day long. I think I'd choose to remain in the beauty world in some capacity, but I'm not sure if I'd want to open up my own salon, design my own line of makeup, or work in marketing for a budding brand. I do, however love thinking of fun and creative names for beauty related topics.

Ahhh, the age old question of bath and body product preferences, yet it's one that always interests me. It's kind of a fun party question if you feel like polling a roomful of mates, because I find that everyone has a strong opinion one way or the other. As for me, I'm a bar soap kind of gal.
Does Your Guy Enjoy a Little Pampering?
On Thursday in Los Angeles, Rob Kardashian, from E!'s reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, was spotted getting a manicure, pedicure and a neck and shoulder massage at a local salon. A lot of men feel that this kind of thing is just for the ladies, but I think it's great when guys groom their hands and toes.
Typically they just go for a buff job instead of getting any colour applied, but it keeps their cuticles and calluses smooth, and it also helps exfoliate their dry, scruffy feet.
Do You Pack Your Own Hairdryer When You Travel?
Most hotels have websites that list their amenities, and more often than not in these modern times, in-room blow dryers are on offer. I however, always choose to pack my own because I'm completely addicted to it's power, quick drying ability and of course, the savior nozzle that concentrates the air to magically cut down on frizz and flyaways.
I also pack my own hair conditioner, even though that's usually available because I don't like the way some conditioners leave my hair feeling brittle, dry and snarly.
Do You Buy Beauty Products as Gifts?
Season after season I create beauty-related gift guides because I personally love gifting beauty products to my family and close friends. I realize that perfumes, makeup, nail polish, skincare and haircare items are quite personal purchases, especially when it comes to colours and scents. However, there are a handful of cult items that have been best sellers for so long, it's hard to ignore their universal appeal.
Would You Rather Your Guy Wear Makeup or Have High-Maintenance Hair?
Last night in New York City, MAC Cosmetics held a private artists' studio tour event for talent that loves and supports their makeup. British clothing designer Gareth Pugh was there with perfectly straightened hair and American frontman for the band Semi Precious Weapons and jewellery designer Justin Tranter was also there with a piecey platinum coif and heavily lined smoky eyes. Tell me, would you rather your guy wear makeup or have hair that takes him longer to style than it takes you?
Do You Ever Apply Makeup In The Car?
Whether you're driving, or just riding as a passenger, it can be quite tempting to apply your makeup in a car if you're in a rush to leave the house.
However, it's a risky road (hee hee) as you inevitably hit bumps and pot-holes which can make a mess of your makeup. I have definitely applied makeup in cars before.

Check out DJ's Amber Jane Butchart and Nisha Thirkell at PPQ for Vodafone's new Netbook Bag launch party last night. The girls have gone all out to match their makeup, outfits and hairstyles (although I think the two different coloured wigs is a nice touch). Sometimes my best friend and I match our makeup.
Do You Wear Makeup When You Fly?
American actress, Amanda Seyfried was spotted getting off an airplane at Los Angeles International Airport this morning without any makeup. When I fly, I don't usually wear makeup, as I like to apply moisturiser midway through the flight to keep my skin hydrated. However, there are definitely times when I need to look presentable post-flight, and in those cases, I pack my cosmetics and pop into the loo before I get to baggage claim (sneaky, sneaky).
