A few of weeks ago, I got to meet the great hairdresser to the stars, Charles Worthington face to face as he (as his mega-brand) were the official hair partners for the 2010 Orange BAFTA Awards. Not only was he kind and handsome, but he was also incredibly interesting.
Whilst he set out in school to become an architect, he was slowly swayed into the glamorous world of hairdressing where he describes the parallels between the two industries as, "balancing hair with faces to create just the right structure."

I've been a fan of super-stylish Olivia Palermo ever since she graced our screens in MTV's hit show The City, so you can imagine my excitement when I ran in to her this London Fashion Week! What's more, she was really lovely, and nothing like the character she's portrayed as on television.
Olivia was in town to fete the launch of her new short film, directed by Kate Elson (sister of model Karen).

I told you yesterday, that I was thrilled to attend the InStyle Beauty Awards. Not only was it fun to chat up all of the different beauty experts and brand representatives, but I also got to speak with famed hairdresser, James Brown. We talked for about ten minutes about his products, how much I loved his show and about NYC.

A few weeks ago, sisters Alex and Olivia Chantecaille made their way from New York City to London to discuss their latest launches (more on this later) with a group of beauty editors. Alex, the Director of Sales and Olivia "the face" and Creative Director of the brand are daughters of Sylvie Chantecaille the brand's matriarch, creator and soul. I was lucky enough to conduct an exclusive interview with Alex and Olivia where we talked about future plans for the brand, working in the family biz and the charities that we often see associated with their luxe palettes and prized beauty products.

Just like our bodies need oxygen to be healthy, our skin does too. Enter Michelle Peck, facialist to Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez and Molly Sims (just to drop a few names). She started off as a masseuse, however, her career really began to take off when she connected with skincare brand Intraceuticals and began putting her own healing touch on their oxygen treatment called Intraceuticals Infusion.

Last week, clothing and fragrance designer Michael Kors (and how could I forget Project Runway judge too) made a trip across the pond not only to visit his new Bond Street store, but to also make an appearance and sign bottles of his brand-new ultra-glamorous fragrance called Very Hollywood (which sells for £48 - £68).
The scent is both flowery and fruity as it contains notes of gardenia, ylang ylang, orris, bergamot, vetiver, white moss, mandarin, black current leaves, pink grapefruit, raspberry and a touch of amber for soul. It was inspired by the high end glamour of Hollywood including the red carpet, decadent jewels, gorgeous clothing and specifically The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Following the Twenty8Twelve Fashion Show, FabSugar UK and I were about to leave when we spotted Alexa Chung taking a break on the bench in the lobby. Lucky us walked on over and got the chance to chat with her for a few minutes about her background, her beauty secrets, and her thoughts on having a brand-new Spring 2010 Mulberry bag named after her!
You'll have to wait until later on in the week to hear about the amazing Alexa bag, but for now, I've got the skinny on her signature winged eyeliner, her theory on why she's only had a spot once in her life (erm, can you say skin envy) and the icons who've been her beauty inspiration.

Yesterday, FabSugarUK told you all about her face to face exclusive interview with Fearne Cotton at a party for her amended clothing collection with Very, and today I've got the lowdown on the beauty goods that Fearne loves most! When asked about the one product she can't live without, Fearne smiled and excitedly gushed about her Paw Paw Ointment (£9.29), an eight hour cream by Australian company Pure Nutraceuticals that she deemed "amazing!"
Also, she's a huge fan of all things Elemis, with a special affinity towards their incredibly moisturising Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (£75).
