I first remember reading about grey nail polish about a year ago and I never thought it would actually catch on. At the time, silver was big on the scene, and the multitude of metallic variations were making their splash. However, it looks like lately, grey is the polish of the posh.

If you're looking for something really easy to achieve, all you need to do is buy a cat mask and wear with dark purple-red lipstick.

There's no getting away from the fact that orange is this season's hottest makeup shade. It's also the quickest, and quirkiest, way to inject some colour into your Summer beauty routine.
The orange trend all started with MAC's now cult lipstick, in Morange, (£11), Summer's most covetable shade.

At the Dior Spring/Summer Haute Couture show, John Galliano sent out a bevy of brightly dressed, models-as-society-beauties; all with eyes that were loaded with glitter.
Glitter on the eyes is nothing new, but what is different this season is a cabaret meets BoomBox-esque twist, where the glitter is piled on with abandon and spreads out from the eyes, down the cheeks, for a modern take on this starlet classic.
For a big night out, experiment with different coloured glitter – iridescent green and bright gold are hot right now, but bronze is a good starter colour.

Dramatic make up often appears in photo shoots but how well does it translate to every day life? Highly pigmented eye make up is now widely available with the likes of Mac, Barry M and Nars all offering bright ranges.
It can look great if well applied and many celebrities try it out including Bat for Lashes and Alison Goldfrapp.
