Earlier this week Alice McCall presented her Autumn line as part of Melbourne Fashion Week. To coincide with this she has also just launched her Spring line for Topshop!
The capsule collection uses neon pastel prints mixed with block neutral tones.

Alice McCall is one of my favourite Australian designers. Her quirky yet feminine designs have already been a big hit at Topshop where she created a popular diffusion range. This weekend she showed off her Autumn designs down under as part of Melbourne Fashion Week.

Australian designer Alice McCall is back at Topshop with her second line for the High Street giant. Her summer collection was one of my favourite High Street collaborations so I'm very excited for her Autumn line.
The Autumn line, which became available yesterday consists of 3 dresses and a skirt all including McCall's classic fun prints.

Back in March I told you about Alice McCall's plans to design for Topshop. Well, the highly anticipated collection by the Australian designer is finally in stores and online today. The line is feminine but slightly quirky featuring bold prints and funky shapes.

Topshop have been responsible for bringing some great designer names to the High Street including Jonathan Saunders, Celia Birtwell and Louise Goldin to name but a few. However, this week it was revealed that we can now expect another collaboration with Australian designer Alice McCall. As this is very early news, there are no images of her actual collection, only sketches of what we might expect (below).

Before you comment, I know, who cares about Samanda, right? Well, as a new series of Big Brother is almost upon us I am as surprised as you that Samanda (Samantha and Amanda) are still doing the party rounds but one things for sure they've got a good PR team and a great stylist.

Graduate Fashion Week: University of Northampton
If you weren't quite awake yet for the first Sunday show, you certainly were after five minutes. The impressive catwalk presentation opened with Roxanne Pitteway's biker chick collection with skin tight leather trousers, quilted details and sculpted origami folds adding snail-like shells to the back of jackets. Keeping the momentum going was Hannah Hutcheson with her fun neon accessories including killer heels, bib necklaces and oversized patent-patched bags.
