Over the past few days we've spotted Rosie Fortescue from London's Made in Chelsea, Alexandra Burke and Sofia Vergara soaking up the sun in Miami Beach. What a way to start of 2013 if you ask me. Dressed in bathing suits, cover ups and wraps all three ladies look casual and happy on the warm Southern coast of America. Out of these three outfits, whose do you like most?
Last night at the Met Gala in New York, Coco Rocha rocked a pair of vintage Givenchy bright yellow cropped trousers and matching beaded jacket previously owned by the late Elizabeth Taylor. The model took the trend to the red carpet, while over in London British model Kelly Brook showed how to wear primrose skinnies for a casual day out. British singer Alexandra Burke went for a mustard hue for the Sony Summer Party in London. Shop yellow trousers in all their variety below, and let me know which shade is your favourite!
Last night in London, Alexandra Burke attended the launch of her Lip Boom collection with MUA Cosmetics at The Rose Club. The British singer selected the eight shades for the new Make Up Academy range, each of which has a lipstick on one end and a highlighting gloss on the other. Names include Alexandra's catchphrases, like OK.com and Bring It, and the collection is due to roll out at Superdrug stores from May 9 priced £3 each. X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra tweeted last night: "Tear in my eye. I'm proud of myself." Take a look at pictures from the launch party, and let me know what you think of Alexandra's foray into cosmetics!
Last night in London, anybody who is anyone in the British music industry gathered at the O2 Arena for the BRIT Awards. I asked you to vote on all of your favourite style and beauty looks that I thought stood out most from the evening, but this morning, I bring you the entire gamut of guests that walked the red carpet. Browse through my slideshow and vote on the best dressed here!
This week, some of our favourite British entertainers let us peek into their world by posting some amazing photos on Twitter. Check out Alexandra Burke, Cat Deeley, Fearne Cotton, Jedward, the handsome Harry Styles and Dionne Bromfield as they share some of their personal moments with the world!
Alexandra Burke was asked by deodorant brand Sure to make an appearance at Westfield Mall in London and surprise shoppers by putting on a dance performance. The reason is Sure is launching a new range called motionsense that works when you move. The new advert features women wearing bell bracelets as they go about their day, showing everyone just how much they move. According to a poll taken by Sure, one-third of women in the UK see shopping as their favourite form of movement.
I'm not entirely sure that I'd call shopping exercise, but if you shop for hours on end (something I make a hobby of quite a lot), you definitely burn calories and keep your body active. Think about all of the walking you do, now add taking your clothes on and off in the fitting room, walking to your car, bus, etc. It may not be cardio, but it's healthier than sitting on the couch. Is shopping your favourite type of movement?
Who knew The X Factor would not only churn out popstars but also fashion designers. As it turns out, Alexandra Burke and boy band JLS have collaborated on a funky, new fashion label called 2KX. Named for the year the label was conceived, its first collection is for Spring/Summer 2011 and consists of urban menswear and womenswear. I caught a glimpse of a few of its pieces last week and especially love the studded leather jacket and body-con dresses. Everything about this brand is flirty and fun. Be prepared, 2KX is so hip, it just might make you want to sing!
Alexandra Burke looked gorgeous as she emerged from the sea yesterday in a coral bikini. She's in Miami at the moment, holidaying with Vanessa White from The Saturdays, and they've been having lots of fun on the beach and on jet skis too! Before she flew out for her break, Alexandra attended Glamour magazine's tenth birthday celebration in London on Thursday night, alongside pregnant Myleene Klass, and Dermot O'Leary.
A host of stars attended Glamour UK's 10th Birthday Dinner at Claridges in London last night. Fearne Cotton got her hair "stupidly big" for the party and sprayed a coughing fit inducing amount of perfume in the car on her way there. Dermot O'Leary brought Dee Koppang, but also laughed with Myleene Klass and her huge baby bump. Myleene tweeted pictures from the do before heading off to Paris this morning to interview Japan Vogue's Anna Dello Russo. Fearne and Myleene posed for a picture too, having filmed a Celebrity Juice "up the duff special" together a fortnight ago. Like Fearne, Alexandra Burke wore an LBD, and James Brown took time out from his new TV show to hang with Paul Sculfor.
