Helena always works her own unique looks on the red carpet and has never been one to conform. However, at the Golden Globes, it seemed to be her mismatched shoes which caused the most comments. She said, "Why not wear mismatching shoes? Who says we can’t? I was just having fun. For me, fashion is all about fantasy and putting unlikely things together. That’s what I love. I genuinely love dressing up." Do you agree with her comments, or are you still unimpressed by her red carpet choices?

We already know that Angelina Jolie is a huge fan of Guerlain's Kohl black eyeliner, but for those of you who are looking to emulate her look, but aren't super skilled at applying a loose (and pretty messy) powder liner, I've got some news for you. The gorgeous and sheer, pink lipgloss that Angie wore down the red carpet to the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, was one of Chantecaille's Brilliant Lip Glosses in a shade called Love. You can even watch her putting it on from a television screen-shot.
Her makeup artist from both The Tourist and the Globes,Toni G said that, "Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss maintains lip moisture and is fresh and sexy." For just £23 you can look like Angelina ... well that is if you can snatch it up before it's sold out! It's already completely unavailable online, however it is stocked in store at Harrods and Fenwicks in the UK.
The 2011 Golden Globe Awards are officially over, but the fun continues on today! We've already had a good look at all the afterparty shots, and now it's time to zoom way in on some fashion details we may have missed. A ruffle here, a backless dress there, some feathers, some fringe — you don't want to miss this!
It's hard to believe that Scarlett Johansson is going through the sting of a divorce. Last night at the Golden Globe Awards she looked stunning in a blush-toned Ellie Saab gown and her hair was a picture of 1940's perfection. Styled by Robert Vetica for Moroccanoil, together they decided on an elegant, soft updo, with Van Cleef & Arpels diamond and platinum brooches.
Robert began by blow‐drying Scarlett's hair with Moroccanoil Treatment (£29.85) for shine and flexibility. He directed the hair away from her face and gathered it at the nape of her neck. Next, he curled small sections of hair starting at the bottom using a ½ inch barrel curling iron until he reached the crown. Then he curled the rest away from her face and set the curls with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray (£17.85).
To finish, he brushed her hair up and away from the her face and and then back-combed it all for volume and shape. He attached the brooches and carefully brushed the tops of the curls, backcombed the roots of the crown for extra height and then doused hair once again in hairspray. Lastly, he used some Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray (£18.25) for shine.
As well as the many other Golden Globes afterparties, celebs made the rounds to the glam HBO and AMC celebrations too. Jon Hamm posed outside HBO's bash with his wife Jennifer Westfeldt, while his Mad Men costar Christina Hendricks looked red hot at the AMC party. Leighton Meester and The Fighter's Mark Wahlberg were also among those winding down after a fun night. Check out FabUK's minidress trend report from the afterparties. Click through for more!
This weekend was all about hobnobbing if you were in Hollywood. Between the Critics' Choice Awards, the Golden Globes and The Art of Elysium Gala, celebrities his the red carpet in many a dress, hairstyle and makeup looks. To keep things fun and varied, I noticed a comeback of retro hair styled in structured, shiny waves worn on Nicole Richie, January Jones, Megan Fox, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kelly Osbourne, Jayma Mays, Milla Jovovich, and Dianna Agron. Out of these eight lovely ladies, who do you think looks the best in this glamorous, retro hair?
Blue Valentine costars Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling partied with friends including Cougar Town's Busy Philipps and Jennifer Lopez at the Weinstein Golden Globes afterparty last night. A listers including best actor winner Colin Firth, Matt Damon and Robert De Niro mingled with Nicole Kidman, Claire Danes and Bruce Willis. There were also plenty of hot guys winding down after the awards like Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Phillippe and Guy Pearce. See all the guests when you click through!
The red carpet at the Golden Globes is packed with long, floor sweeping gowns, but as soon as the award ceremony is over, celebrities like to slip in to something a little more sexy! This year, short dresses were a popular choice for the afterparties as stars like Natalie Portman, Molly Sims and Emma Roberts showed off their pins. Click through to see photos of this trend.
