Freaky or Fabulous? Bruno on the Catwalk
On Friday during the Agatha Ruiz De La Prada at Milan Fashion Week, Sasha Baron Cohen (as his latest character Bruno) sneaked backstage and somehow managed to grace the catwalk.
The incident resulted in the subsequent arrest of Baron Cohen but what do you think of his catwalk debut; freaky or fabulous?

Love It or Hate It? Mischa Barton's Milan Look
Actress and front row fashionista Mischa Barton was looking glowing at the Vanity Fair party at Milan Fashion Week. She went for a natural makeup look, with a rose coloured lip gloss, black lined eyes and peachy blush. Her skin always looks flawless but I thought she looked slightly tired in this picture.

Milan Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Emilio Pucci
Spring 2009 is Matthew Williamson's final collection for Pucci before Peter Dundas takes over the creative healm. Williamson had originally been believed to be leaving to concentrate on his own label but the rumour mill suggests otherwise.
He presented the collection in Milan yesterday and it included some classic Pucci style prints (modeled by the amazing Jourdan Dunn) and plenty of bright colours.
Milan Fashion Week, Spring 2009: La Perla
Swathes of chiffon and artful draping made for a feminine yet bold collection for La Perla, at Milan Fashion Week. Head to toe colours ranging from black to white, cream, aqua and lilac were given subtly frou frou touches with lace, ruffled hems and lots of asymmetric necklines. The hair was tousled and full, while makeup was gleaming and natural.
Milan Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Marni
Marni are famous for colour blocking and clashing prints and their Spring 2009 collection stuck to this but updated it for the new season. Using a colour palette that included neon pastels, Consuelo Catiglioni presented a collection to Milan Fashion Week that referenced '70s style in a playful way.
There were many contrasting aspects including circular lace played against sheer checks and pale shades against bright tones.
Love it or Hate it: Rihanna's Thigh High Boots
We already know that Rihanna has a fearless approach to fashion, and I recently told you about the resurrgence of over the knee boots. Hardly surprising then that Rihanna has already been trying out the trend. Yesterday she attended the Gucci Spring 2009 show in Milan sporting the slightly-risque footwear.

There was a definite femme fatale mood at Gucci's Spring/Summer 2009 show in Milan. Frida Giannini didn't put a foot wrong with asymmetric cuts, leafy prints and rich-girl-on-safari taupe creations. Fab US has plenty to say about the clothes, while I was more concerned with some of the most beautiful hair and makeup looks I've seen on the runway for a while now.

The Spring fashion shows continue this week as Milan Fashion Week takes place showcasing some of the biggest names in fashion including Giorgio Armani, Burberry and Prada.
Last night the catwalk was decorated with painted fish whilst the audience sat on wooden islands. The collection was refreshingly straight forward as Miuccia herself decided that fashion had got too complicated.

Christopher Bailey described this collection as “little girls splashing around in their gardens with easy elegancy” and although I've never seen little girls make a mess with elegance, it's a good description for this collection.
Bailey is a traditional English guy and knows that Summer in England doesn't necessarily mean sun so this line included floppy rain hats and traditional Burberry macs updated with ruffle applique.
There was definitely a Grey Gardens influence with long cardigans tied over knee length dresses.
