2008 National Television Awards: Best Dressed
There were so many gorgeous dresses on the red carpet at this year's NTA's that I'm struggling to pick just five ladies that displayed the best style. There was a lot of red and metallic on show and many classy, long evening gowns. Who do you think deserves to be crowned best dressed?
2008 National Television Awards: Cheryl Cole
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole was the belle of the ball in this green Grecian Matthew Williamson gown. The colour compliments her skin tone and the gold, boho detailing is so chic. She teamed it with gold heels and 2 simple, plain gold bangles leaving the dress as the focal point.
2008 National Television Awards: Roxanne McKee
Roxanne McKee plays one of the most stylish characters on Hollyoaks but how did that transfer to the red carpet? The actress revealed to Sara Cox this evening that she is to leave the soap at Christmas as her character meets a sad ending. Roxanne dressed in a draped long, black dress for the National Television Awards accessorised with chandelier earrings.

Funky TV presenter Fearne Cotton, arrived on the red-carpet with her newish-fringe, fabulous silver and feathered frock and black tights to keep her warm on this cold Autumn night. Fearne always has sparkling and bright blonde hair and tonight, she wore it simple and slightly tousled.
Her makeup also is plain and polished with defined eyes, bright lips and red nails.

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly channeled next season's penchant for neon pastels on the red carpet. She wore a low neck melon-coloured Temperley London dress with a delicate gold belt to accentuate her waistline. I love the way that this dress emphasises her womanly figure.

Gorgeous pop singer, Rachel Stevens arrived in a body-hugging black and grey Herve Leger off-the shoulder dress. Her quintessential and modern smouldering eyeshadow (that perfectly matches her frock) looks youthful and fresh against peachy cheeks and shiny nude lips. I also love how her rich, honey-toned highlights create an overall warmth to her skin.

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue was brave to bare flesh in the cold London air this evening as she added a touch of glamour to the red carpet. The metallic tones of her dress and clutch added to her glowing complexion. Do you think she has the golden red carpet touch?
2008 National Television Awards: Michelle Keegan
Manchester native and now Coronation Street soap star, Michelle Keegan, dazzled in an elegant strapless gown on the red carpet. However, what struck me most about her look wasn't her dress, or her makeup, but her long and bouffant jet black hair. I particularly like how there's height at the crown and volume around her face as opposed to laying lifeless or simple and stick straight.

Alesha Dixon looked stunning on the red carpet tonight with her slicked back hair smoky eyes and pale, chalky-pink lips against her flirty Julian Macdonald dress.
