By now you've probably heard about Kanye West using his recent concerts and media appearances to air all his fashion-industry dirty laundry (pun intended). But do you know who he's complaining about when he makes these rants? Herein is a full explanation of everyone in the fashion industry West is mad at — and why.
By now you've probably seen Kanye West's new music video for "Bound 2", starring majestic horses, mountain tops, and the rapper's topless fiancée, Kim Kardashian. The racy clip could definitely be considered groundbreaking (at least, Kanye would say so), but it's not a new concept. Many musicians have featured their real-life lovers in music videos — some pairs, like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, were already coupled up, while others found love on the set (we're looking at you, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend). Read on for 14 famous couples that set their love to music, and find out which ones stayed together after the director yelled "Cut!"
Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z
From "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" to "Crazy in Love", the usually private Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles haven't shied away from putting their love on display in music videos.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck
The whole Bennifer era is a blur for most of us (see: Gigli), but one of the most memorable moments from the epic courtship is Jennifer Lopez's video for "Jenny From the Block." She and Ben Affleck caroused on land and sea in the 2002 video, but it's that yacht scene that will likely go down in history.
Britney Spears and Jason Trawick
While they may be no longer, Britney Spears and her then-fiancé Jason Trawick starred together in the video for her 2011 hit "Criminal." Not only did Jason and Britney shared some very steamy love scenes in the short film, but they also went on some sort of two-person crime spree.
Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova
Enrique Iglesias reportedly began playing tennis star Anna Kournikova in 2001, but they remained pretty tight-lipped about their romance for years — even while getting down and dirty in the singer's video for "Escape" in 2002.

Kanye West proudly sported his "Nori" necklace and his new-dad grin for a visit to The Ellen Degeneres Show this week. The interview airs in Tuesday's episode, and it's where Kanye will be debuting his sexy new video for "Bound 2" starring none other than his fiancée, Kim Kardashian. Kanye gushed about both his girls, talked about why he went with such an elaborate AT&T park engagement, and accepted Ellen's latest cheeky gift.
A couple of Kanye's sweetest moments in the interview come when asked about Kim. Kanye smiled while saying "practice made perfect" on whether North was planned, but politely declined to share the most intimate details of his proposal with Ellen. Watch the cute clips, and see the whole interview when it airs Tuesday on Ellen's show.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is tonight! The big event doesn't air until Dec. 10 on CBS, but we're getting ready by taking a look at all the backstage chaos, hot performances, and runway glamour from years past. From the over-the-top set designs to the barely-there lingerie, it's pretty amazing to see how far the show has come since the late '90s. See Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, and even performers like Justin Timberlake and Usher when you click through now.
"We have wanted to work with Kanye West for a very long time, ever since he became a close friend of the Maison, supporting us a lot and coming to our shows," a spokesperson for the house told Vogue UK. "We like his music and the vision he had for the tour."
The Margiela designers had a slightly easier time working with the rapper than APC's founder Jean Touitou, who famously said his collaboration with the rapper took "two years to create just three items."
"Everything went very smoothly since our first meetings with Kanye at the beginning of the year," the statement from Maison Martin Margiela said. "Kanye already performed in a crystal veil from our Fall 2012 couture collection during a show in Paris last year, so it was an obvious decision to integrate some of them into the wardrobe."
West's tour is scheduled to be in his hometown of Chicago this week and will end in Houston on 7 December.
We've all been envisioning the Kanye West and Kim Kardashian proposal moment since we first heard the news on Monday night, but we can put our imaginations to rest, because there is video! We shared some fun, exclusive details about how Kanye planned the big moment, which went down in front of family, friends, an orchestra, their E! cameras, and some members of the San Francisco tech elite. Watch it now!
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged, E! Online confirms. Kanye popped the question in an over-the-top manner (as if we would expect anything else) by renting out San Francisco's AT&T Park for an epic celebration for Kim's 33rd birthday. Kanye asked her to marry him there, and hopefully soon we'll have more details on the surely one-of-a-kind moment. Kanye proposed with a 15-carat diamond ring from jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, and Kim was decked out in a Valentino minidress despite the chilly SF weather.
Kim was with Kanye when he kicked off his Yeezus tour over the weekend, and he's bringing it to the Bay Area with a show in Oakland, CA, this week. It's obviously going to be a meaningful next performance for Kanye, as he serenades his wife-to-be and mother to his daughter, North.
Kim's hairstylist posted a photo of Kim with her brand-new ring on Instagram, writing, "Guess what just happened!"
Here's an Instagram video of the Jumbotron that read, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!!" while a 50-piece orchestra played.
Kendall Jenner also posted a photo of the scene.
The Hollywood Film Awards have become widely considered the unofficial start of award season, and with good reason. The annual ceremony, held in Beverly Hills, has a knack for shining an early spotlight on the movies and talents that tend to become top contenders for Golden Globes and Oscars. This year, Gravity's Sandra Bullock, Dallas Buyers Club star Matthew McConaughey, and 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen were just a few of the notable honorees.
Kanye West opened the show to present McQueen with his honor and apparently made a quick exit after he spoke; just after his appearance at the ceremony, he flew to San Francisco, where he proposed to Kim Kardashian in front of their friends and family on her 33rd birthday! Kanye wasn't the only surprise presenter of the evening. Robert Downey Jr. handed Jared Leto his breakthrough performance award for his role as the transgendered Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club, introducing Jared as "one of the most beautiful actresses of his generation."
Overall, the night was a lighthearted celebration; presenters and honorees took advantage of the untelevised ceremony to pepper their speeches with profanity and raunchy jokes. Matthew thanked his wife, Camila Alves, for telling him to "grab his sack and do it" when he was waffling on taking on a fourth film role in a year, while Sandra took the opportunity to harangue Harvey Weinstein for failing to hire her yet. "I wore your wife's dress," she said, referencing the Marchesa gown — designed by Harvey's wife, Georgina Chapman — she was in when she snagged her Oscar for The Blind Side. The audience was also treated to a solo performance by Coldplay's Chris Martin. He played the band's track "Atlas" from the upcoming Catching Fire soundtrack and had no shortage of Hunger Games-related jokes, insisting the movies are based on a true story and claiming he just tried to tap into "what those people went through" when he penned the ballad. Stay tuned for tomorrow's POPSUGAR Live! to catch our interviews with Sandra, Matthew, Harrison Ford, and more of the stars from this year's Hollywood Film Awards.
New York Fashion Week has almost come to a close! The festivities started off with a bang at last Wednesday night's Style Awards. The event brought out stars like Kate Upton, Rachel Zoe, and Nicole Richie, and even more fashion-loving celebs have stepped out to take in the shows as the week progessed. A-list designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Victoria Beckham, Rachel Zoe, and Alexander Wang have all shown their Spring 2014 collections around the city, so we've naturally seen some very star-studded front rows. Celebs like Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, and Kanye West have stepped out to take in the runway shows, as well as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who walked the red carpet together at the Lexus Design Disrupted event. We'll be keeping an eye on all the celebrities to pop up at New York Fashion Week, so check back as we keep updating the fun!
According to people who claim to know, Kanye West's much-talked-about unisex clothing line is about 60 percent finished — and it seems to be pretty wearable, too.
One source who spoke to The New York Post said the collection is "completely wearable and surprisingly cohesive," but another sniped that it resembles a "cheaper-looking version of an old Rick Owens collection mixed in with his APC capsule."
The Post broke the news about the unisex line in July, shortly after West unveiled a collaboration with APC that included jeans, hoodies, and t-shirts. At the time it was believed that West would present the line during Paris Fashion Week, but another source says the excitement surrounding the birth of his daughter, North West, may have slowed down his design aspirations.
Whether he will show next month remains to be seen, but West is no stranger to staging shows in the City of Light. After negative reviews for his Spring 2012 collection and lukewarm comments for his Autumn 2012 collection, West decided not to stage a show for Spring 2013.
Unisex clothing lines can be tricky to execute, but they've been popular among celebrities in recent years. Chloë Sevigny presented a "men's unisex" clothing line in 2009, and Jennifer Farley of Jersey Shore fame had plans to create a unisex line in 2010.
