Lace has been a key trend for a couple of seasons, but this Autumn its all over the High Street in many different shapes and styles. I have noticed a particular '80s item as the retro body makes a come back.

Lily Allen rocked a very sheer style over the Summer on stage at V Festival with a pair of skinny jeans. This is a great example of how the item can be dressed up or dressed down. You could follow Lily's lead and team with jeans, or dress up with a prom skirt.

Although I am yet to buy a body (this time round), they definitely give you a smooth silhouette and are great for adding texture to an ensemble. Will you be sporting the style for Autumn or through the party season?

Cat Deeley attended the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards earlier this week in a sexy zip front frock. The English presenter supported a British design house wearing a Temperley London number with lace detailing. The Crimson dress (£795) is part of the Autumn collection and Cat teamed it with studded gladiator sandals and a funky clutch. You can copy Cat's cool red carpet look below.

Freida Pinto and Dev Patel are quickly becoming one of my favourite couples, and I love seeing photos of them out together. Yesterday they were spotted shopping in London and I can now reveal what they bought. Freida is already a big fan of Rupert Sanderson having worn his shoes on the red carpet previously, but now she has introduced Dev to the footwear genius too! According to my sources, the Slumdog Millionaire duo were "really charming" and purchased one pair of shoes each. Freida went for the Lolette olive and brown pumps (£495), whilst Dev opted for Saddled O’s in black and white (£295) – very stylish!

The stars of Gossip Girl were busy filming in New York earlier this week. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were on set working their characters style. Blake/Serena stayed true to her rock chick style with skinny jeans, a leather jacket and knee high boots, but it's her bag which caught my eye. I am already completely in love with Alexander Wang's Coco duffle, and now I am adding the Max (£735) to my wish list. The funky accessory looks like a giant bum bag with plenty of zip pockets and gold hardware. It has quite a retro, '80s feel which is popular right now. What do you think of this shoulder bag?
