Style Olympics Day 2: USA vs. Australia

The 2008 Style Olympics continue as we take a look at the gymnasts' attire.

The 2008 Style Olympics continue as we take a look at the gymnasts' attire. This is pretty much my favourite Olympic event as I'm always pretty impressed by the girls' talent. However, for this poll we're just judging on their choice of leotard! Whilst America stuck with their traditional colours for a star emblazoned leotard, Australia went for a golden swirl pattern. Which do you prefer?

Sneak Peek! Penelope Cruz For Mango Fall '08 If anyone can make knits and coats look sexy, it's Penelope. After the Summer collection, she's striking a few new poses in Mango's Fall collection. This has me itching for a new Fall wardrobe. Leather jackets, colorful knits, sexy cardigans, and plaid and sheer blouses make up a cozy Mango montage. And once again, Penelope's sultry gaze does the brand justice.

Exclusive Few Fab Words With Sophie Morgan

Britain's Missing Top Model may well be over for this year but the battle for acceptance of disabled models in the fashion industry continues.

Britain's Missing Top Model may well be over for this year but the battle for acceptance of disabled models in the fashion industry continues. One woman who's campaign certainly did not end with the series is paraplegic model Sophie Morgan.

She was the runner-up to winner Kelly Knox although many (myself included) thought she would win. Sophie told us, "I really, really, really wanted to win. And I really, really believed in it and in myself and trying to do the most that I could with it so I was quite upset about it ."

We caught up with her to find out about her experiences on the show and what she plans to do in the future...

  • Why are disabled models so important to you?
I think it’s important because it just hasn’t happened and I don’t know why. I don’t understand why disabilities have to be ostracized. There are so many beautiful girls that could model but don’t because they’re disabled. I’m not saying that because you’re disabled and you’re pretty you should model but if you have all the components that could make a model but are missing a hand or something I don’t understand why you can't.

Fab Flash: Roberto Cavalli Speaks Out...Again

It's getting to be a bit of a common occurrence that Roberto Cavalli speaks out against everyone (except for Victoria Beckham).

It's getting to be a bit of a common occurrence that Roberto Cavalli speaks out against everyone (except for Victoria Beckham). Back in May the Italian designer talked about many celebrities but now his rant has become more model specific.

Cavalli, who is famous for his use of animal prints took a swipe at Kate Moss whilst speaking to the Observer Food Monthly (quite how Kate would come up in a conversation about food is beyond me) who he thinks just doesn't "have what it takes to be a true star." He added that, "There are thousands of models like all other models. Naomi Campbell is the same way." Ouch.

Naomi recently shared her own views on models but these were slightly more realistic. Roberto, on the other hand, is suggesting that he is the puppet master of the fashion world adding, "For me, models are just pieces of wood that I carve to make clothes look beautiful." Is anybody else slightly scared? Also, if Kate isn't that special, why does she feature in this season's Just Cavalli ad campaign?

Love it or Hate it: Celia Birtwell Jumpsuit

On Monday, the latest Celia Birtwell for Topshop collection hit stores across the UK.

On Monday, the latest Celia Birtwell for Topshop collection hit stores across the UK. The collection includes pretty blouses, jumpsuits and dresses all, of course, adorned with her gorgeous, classic prints.

Jumpsuits are a relatively new addition to the capsule collection available in short length (£75) and full length. Personally, I think the shorter length would be more flattering on me but I still can't decide if I like it or not. What do you think?
