Following in her sister's footstep Solange Knowles has been signed as the face of Armani Jeans. Beyoncé Knowles is already the face of the Emporio Armani Diamonds fragrance but soon the whole Knowles family will be Armani clad.

In a statement, Giorgio Armani said,

"Armani Jeans expresses my vision of a young, independent, casual lifestyle with a strong and cool, fashion sensibility. Solange epitomizes this style perfectly and brings to it that swing so evident in her new single, 'I Decided."

Solange is currently embarking on a European tour when she will visit London and Cannes so expect a lot of product placement.

This week the winner of the controverisal BBC disabled modeling competition Britain's Missing Top Model was revealed. Yesterday I asked if you were happy with the result but today we can reveal one of the images that appears in this month's Marie Claire magazine.

Kelly Knox beat Sophie in the final to take the prize which included a photo shoot with top fashion photographer Rankin. This photo is taken from the shoot and shows Kelly's disability (which she personally does not class as a disability) which is that she is missing part of her left arm.

I don't usually look to London party girl Peaches Geldof for style advice but last night she must have felt inspired by her friends at PPQ as she looked pretty funky whilst heading to their Summer party. Sounds like she had a bit of a weird night as she cruised round London but at least she did it in style!

I really like her high waisted denim skirt, it's so wonderfully early '90s and she exaggerates the high waist with a chunky belt. The green ribbed cardigan softens the look slightly.

Although her brown boots make her look slightly more edgy she recently told the News of the World that Pixie is the edgy one. "Pixie is amazing – she has great style. Our style is pretty different. I think I’m a lot safer. She’s very edgy and cool. She’s going to be a real style icon of the future."

Two Belgian born designers were yesterday added to the New York Fashion Walk of Fame! Diane von Furstenberg and the late Liz Claiborne were honoured joining the likes of Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein and Bill Blass. DVF told Vogue, "I am very grateful to be recognised by the Fashion Walk of Fame and to be included with such an extraordinary group of fashion visionaries." Art Ortenberg, Liz Claiborne's former husband was there for his wife to acknowledge the honour. See below for images.
