I used to have a Saturday job in a department store.
I did while I was at university!
I'm from the States and used to work at the Gap, when I was about 18. I spent more than I earned, so the whole summer job was a waste of money for me!
Worst
I've worked in 3 previously and hated all of them. I've worked in a shoe shop too which was ok, but I can safely say retail is not for me.
Did and now do again (well, shoe shop). Some have been better than others, and I'm now quite certain department stores and high street chains are not for me, but in the right shop I've found it far more interesting than office work.
