Should This YSL Commercial Really Have Been Banned?

The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned a commercial for YSL's Belle D'Opium fragrance for "appearing to simulate injecting drugs."

The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned a commercial for YSL's Belle D'Opium fragrance for "appearing to simulate injecting drugs." All because the model in the commercial runs her finger up one arm and eventually seizes her body, actions the ASA says could be interpreted as drug related.

YSL, of course, says the choreography is simply meant to seduce the viewer and showcase the perfume's intense nature. Maybe I'm blind, but the most objectionable thing I see in this commercial is some major sexyface. Plus, if they think that the motion from the video is really what injecting drugs looks like, I think maybe it's time for a private screening of either Trainspotting or Requiem For a Dream. Should this ad have been banned? Check out the commercial (no sound needed) after the jump.

Rihanna's "S & M" Video — Love It or Leave It?

When a song is titled "S & M," the music video formula probably seems obvious: bondage, racy outfits, innuendo.

When a song is titled "S & M," the music video formula probably seems obvious: bondage, racy outfits, innuendo. But it's a careful line to walk between being playful and taking things too far. In Rihanna's latest, the singer treads it carefully, using S & M to allude to her love-hate relationship with the press (in one scene, she walks Perez Hilton around like a dog).

Most of the video is in your face, between the frenetic camera shots and the sexual overtones, but in Rihanna's defence, at least she tries to keep things light and cheeky, as opposed to something like this. What do you think?

Jason Segel

Video: Paul Rudd and Jason Segel Have a Cute I Love You, Man Reunion

If you still quote comedy I Love You, Man the way the Buzz team does, then you'll get a kick out of Funny or Die's new homage to the film.

If you still quote comedy I Love You, Man the way the Buzz team does, then you'll get a kick out of Funny or Die's new homage to the film. Jason Segel and Paul Rudd reprise their characters Sydney and Peter to go backstage at a Rush concert for Pete's birthday (complete with show beards). The nods to the film are aplenty, including a "totes magote" and, of course — slappin' da bass. Watch as they're awkwardly confronted in the band's green room!

Watch Mark Zuckerberg and Jesse Eisenberg Network on SNL

As expected, Mark Zuckerberg made a cameo on Saturday Night Live on US TV this weekend during host Jesse Eisenberg's opening monologue.

As expected, Mark Zuckerberg made a cameo on Saturday Night Live on US TV this weekend during host Jesse Eisenberg's opening monologue. Eisenberg is getting a lot of attention for his leading role in The Social Network, but he wasn't even the sole Zuckerberg impersonator in the house; Andy Samberg also showed off his own impression, only to be one-upped by the real Facebook founder. Watch as Eisenberg nervously babbles through his opening remarks and eventually comes to face to face with the man behind the role that earned him an Oscar nomination. Bonus: how cute is their high five?

Ever the example of manners and charm, Colin Firth went on The Today Show yesterday to address his Oscar nomination for The King's Speech with the utmost graciousness. The actor took a moment to acknowledge his costars' nominations, and even thanked host Meredith Vieira for her support of the film (much to fellow nominee James Franco's chagrin). Watch!

BuzzWorthy Video: Ryan Gosling and Jimmy Kimmel Sing "You Always Hurt the One You Love"

And now: your delightful Ryan Gosling video of the day!

And now: your delightful Ryan Gosling video of the day! From Gosling saying "Hey girl" to performing with his band Dead Man's Bones, we soak up any little bits of the actor we can get, and this week Jimmy Kimmel gave his US audience a special treat. When Gosling stopped by Kimmel's show to talk about Blue Valentine, the host got him to whip out a ukulele like his character in the film and sing "You Always Hurt the One You Love" with him. Kimmel tries to hog the spotlight to hilarious effect, but come on — you can't steal the spotlight from Gosling. Watch now.

BuzzWorthy Video: Nuthin' but a Glee Thang, Baby!

If you can't wait until Glee's return, you can still watch Heather Morris, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Naya Rivera, and Harry Shum Jr. get down in this latest video from Funny or Die.

If you can't wait until Glee's return, you can still watch Heather Morris, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Naya Rivera, and Harry Shum Jr. get down in this latest video from Funny or Die. Set to the tune of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang," Morris spits lyrics alongside her fellow cast members. As an added bonus, Modern Family's Sofia Vergara appears wearing a Sue Sylvester tracksuit and sharing her love for Jane Lynch (hmm, a reference perhaps to costar Ed O'Neill's Emmy comments?). My verdict: any video that features Monteith trying to do the robot is well worth watching. Watch, and listen for the many references to Morrison's abs. You know they had to.
