The annual Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala takes place this evening! Like in years past, 2013's ball is sure to be full of famous faces and daring fashions. Adding to the star-studded excitement, this year's ball celebrates the opening of the Met's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit and will be cohosted by Anna Wintour and Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci.

Victoria Beckham's iconic bob is back . . . or so we all thought. Earlier this week she posted a photo on her Twitter page thanking stylist Tina Outen for a seemingly new haircut. Of course, we were hoping it was the return of her iconic asymmetrical bob that was part of her signature Posh Spice look. Turns out it was all a sham. She was spotted today with her long hair once again, but can we just say we're a little biased towards the long bob look. What do you think of Victoria's haircut fakeout?

The Spice Girls musical playing in London's West End is called Viva Forever!, but its run will last only six months. It was confirmed today that Viva Forever! will close early in June, despite the best promotional efforts of Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham. Due to poor ticket sales and worse reviews, backers of the production say they could not make the financials work. In a statement the Girls expressed their own thoughts, saying, "Although Viva Forever won't continue in the West End, we are thrilled that the thousands of people who came to the show had as much fun as we did."

Victoria Beckham was a busy social media butterfly today during a photo shoot. She shared a number of behind-the-scenes peeks at herself on set with photographer Boo George and her hair and makeup crew. Victoria was free from posing long enough to send messages to her almost six million Twitter followers, including "Happy Tuesday fashion bunnies!" and "Great shoot! Super excited." She had kind words for her hair team too. Stylist Tina Outen, apparently inspired by a photo of Christy Turlington on the beach, helped give Victoria what looks like a new short cut. Victoria liked the change-up, writing, "Loving the hair!"

Her day before the lens allowed her husband David to spend time one-on-one with their daughter Harper. David and a very smiley Harper went out in London today during a break from his time in Paris with the city's Paris St-Germain soccer team. Victoria was also a working mom over the weekend when she attended the British Vogue Festival Sunday and revealed her plans to establish her first Victoria Beckham Collection store in London.

Over the weekend, Victoria Beckham revealed that she is quite interested in launching a high end fragrance. At the Vogue Festival she told Alexandra Shulman, "At some point, I think it would definitely be a great thing to do. It's about finding the right time and the right partner — a partner that would give me the control that I would want." Since this isn't new territory for Mrs. B, who has helped create and release over 20 scents (that you can shop here) with her sexy hubby David and megabrand Coty, but apparently this time around, she would really prefer full control over the creative process. She said, "I don't have any licensing deals. I own everything myself, with David and with Simon Fuller. I don't want to give up any control — I'm a perfectionist."

Who knows when Victoria's luxurious new elixir will launch, but, is it something that you would even consider buying at a little bit higher of a price point knowing that she was the nose and the driving force behind it all?

How cool is this? French fragrance-makers and candle company Diptyque have been making the runways of New York and London smell delectable. At the Victoria Beckham show in New York City, the entrance to the library and the catwalk was lined with rich, deep green Figuier candles. In London, Christopher Kane chose Diptyque's 34 Boulevard Saint Germain Room Spray to create a spicy, mossy-like ambiance. And over at House of Holland, Henry Holland also thought that using Figuier candles would give the room a classic scent amidst a throwback clothing collection. Lastly Antonio Berardi decided upon the unique, resin and balsamic scent of Opopanax Room Spray for his show. Which of these fragrances is your favourite?
