April was a busy month for social-media-savvy stars, who spent the last few weeks sharing candid photos from their moments at work and play. Diane Kruger and Vanessa Hudgens took advantage of sunny Spring weather at outdoor events like Coachella, while Channing Tatum was hard at work promoting his latest flick, White House Down. We loved seeing the airport run-in between Gwyneth Paltrow and Demi Lovato, as well as the return of Kate Hudson to the set of Glee. Jimmy Fallon got silly with the Jonas Brothers, Neil Patrick Harris got glammed up for Cirque du Soleil, and even though he was in the hospital for surgery, Dwayne Johnson kept his spirits up in a Superman t-shirt.
Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart made a stylish appearance at Hakkasan Nightclub's grand opening at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday. Jennifer stunned in a clingy little black dress while her boyfriend rocked a bright red blazer on the carpet. Inside the club, the duo mingled with Vanessa Hudgens, her boyfriend, Austin Butler, and dancer Cheryl Burke, while other celebrity attendees like Glee's Mark Salling, birthday boy Pharrell Williams, and Paris Hilton spent the night listening to Calvin Harris DJ the event.
Over the weekend, J Lo had more than just Sin City fun on her mind since her son, Max Anthony, got stitches for a minor chin injury while in LA with dad Marc Anthony. J Lo addressed the situation on the red carpet, saying, "Of course I was freaking out, but he was fine. He said it tickled." Back on the work front, J Lo is prepping to launch her next single, "Live It Up," with Pit Bull on May 8. In addition to new music, J Lo may be returning to TV after rumors surfaced earlier this month that she'll return to American Idol's judging panel as a replacement for Mariah Carey. Producers have denied the replacement assumptions, but no comments have been made regarding whether Jennifer will return to the show next season.

Last night, the celebrities taught a lesson in eye-brightening makeup techniques. Michelle Trachtenberg, Selita Ebanks, and Vanessa Hudgens were all spotted with illuminating shadow shades that can work on all skin tones.
Fair Skin: If you have a fair complexion, a white eyeliner like Shu Uemura's Eye Light Pencil White ($19) is a must have for your eye makeup kit. At Madonna's Fashion Evolution Pop-Up Exhibit, Michelle wore a shimmering shade on the bottom corners of her eyes, which was blended with royal blue liner underneath. Also, try applying the liner in the lower waterline to get a doe-eyed effect.
Medium Skin: For medium skin tones, take a note from Vanessa Hudgens's makeup look also from Madonna's Fashion Evolution Pop-Up Exhibit. She wore a pearlescent shadow like L'Oréal Infallible Eyeshadow in Endless Pearl ($7) on the inner corners of her eye and underneath. The iridescent shadow balances the inky black of her eyeliner and offers a brightening effect.
Dark Skin: At the Nylon cover celebration Selita Ebanks proved that dark lipstick can (and should) be worn in the Spring, but to counter the deep hue, she wore a shimmering taupe shadow like Trish McEvoy Eye Shadow in White Peach ($18) from her lash line to her brows. It's the ideal color to draw light to the eyes on darker complexions.

For the second go-around, Alessandra Ambrosio was accompanied by her daughter, Anja, to take in a performance by The Lumineers, and Jessica Alba hit the grounds with pals.

Last night's A/X Armani ExchangeNeon Carnival at Coachella brought the stars out for a night out in the desert. The carnival-themed event, held at an airport hangar, lasted early into the morning. During the festivities, Julianne Hough, Alex Pettyfer, and Ed Westwick took turns throwing darts, while Emma Roberts hopped on the giant slide. Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend, Austin Butler, also took advantage of the rides and took a spin on the bumper cars, while Alexander Skarsgard was spotted making the rounds solo. One unexpected guest at the bash was Clint Eastwood, who played carnival games, sipped beer, and stopped to take some photos with fans.

Making sure you look extra presentable for that annual beach trip with the girls is one thing, but how do you think you'd fair if your bikini-clad butt were blown up on big screens across America? Got a little nervous, huh? That's exactly why we've got ultimate respect for Spring Breakers star Vanessa Hudgens, who's clearly got nothing to hide in terms of a perfectly shapely physique. (I mean, look at that thing! Damn, girl!)
"I think her healthy, toned look is something that we all aspire to have," says Lauren Weisman, mind body manager at Exhale Santa Monica, where Hudgens works out on a regular basis. The combo of core work, Pilates, ballet and yoga keeps her body looking extra fantastic.
"That's great," you're thinking, "but what does she do to keep her butt looking so darn perky?" According to Weisman, the answer lies with the Fold-Over Gluteal exercise, a move that lifts the glutes and lengthens hamstrings. The result? Discovering that magic balance between "lengthened leg and really rounded booty," says Weisman. We're sold.
Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez stopped by Chelsea Lately last night as they continued their press tour for Spring Breakers, which is in theaters today. The duo, who both got their start as Disney stars, chatted about their racy scenes in the film, including a threesome with costar James Franco. See what Vanessa and Selena had to say about their controversial roles.
