Kelly Osbourne, Amy Winehouse and Angelina Jolie all reinforce their bad gal credentials with tattoos. Even Nicole Richie and Fearne Cotton have succumbed.
Rock and roll or just a little bit tacky? Are tattoos on girls hot, or not?

I love my tattoo, but I put it somewhere it doesn't show to the whole world (my hip). It's perfect because it's something I did just for me anyway, and no one can see it unless I want to show it off.
1Voted chic, but I guess in the end it depends on the tattoo, its placement, etc.
2Completely depends on the person, the tattoo, how well it is done etc. I would love one, I really like those swallows in the picture! But some a pretty tacky to me.
3It all depends, small and sentimental tats are definitely chic. But I love hard core tats on gals that can pull them off.
4Do the same issues apply to tattoos on guys? I've never really thought of tattoos on guys as being either chic or tacky.
5No offense but I think tattoos are really tacky on girls. Even the really small ones look a bit cheap to me - but it's personal taste I guess.
I think thyey're sexy on guys though. Hypocrite. moi?
6the cat, yes.
alos...I think it depends on the person, tattoo, and quality.
7also*
8It depends on the person, tattoo and where is it.
9I really like Nicole Richie's tattoo.
Sometimes tattoo on guys are sext but it depends on who.
Cheap.
10What I don't get is how people can be on the fence and say that its cool depending on the design, placement etc..so basically its only cool if you personally share the same aesthetic taste as the person with the tattoo?! I have tattoos, so I am biased, but the way I see it is that not everyone is going to like the way I decorate my house, and I don't have to like the way the decorate theirs, but the point is that we all like to decorate our house... to express ourselves and make ourselves feel comfortable. It is the same for tattoos. Does someone really have less class because YOU don't like their artwork?
11I absolutely agree with Queenie!!
12Good job at explaining that :0)
