Super soft suede appeared on the catwalk at Burberry for Spring 2010 as Christopher Bailey reinvented the classic trench with rouched shoulders and black buttons (£2,615). The brand isn't alone in embracing suede as several other design houses have followed the trend.
Rick Owens grey biker jacket (£1,441) is effortlessly cool and a great alternative to the classic leather version. Whilst a lot of the suede on offer right now is at quite a high price point, expect the High Street to follow suit as the Spring collections arrive in store. Will you be embracing suede this season?
