The step-and-repeat might as well have been a runway at last night's Maison Martin Margiela For H&M launch party. Models and celebs flocked to 5 Beekman Street in Lower Manhattan, a dilapidated brick building — and maybe one of the coolest venues ever — to celebrate the brand's latest collaboration. Between performance art (something like interpretive dance in the sand) and cocktails, we were eying the celebs in attendance. Doutzen Kroes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Joan Smalls, and even Kanye, who were among the first to get their hands on the coveted new collab, outfitted their looks accordingly, with the line's new coats, pants, and tops — all done with Margiela's signature minimalist-cool construction and H&M's always-accessible price point.
