If you ever have any friends visiting from across the pond you'll know how important Topshop is. The Oxford Circus store has become as much of a tourist must-see as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament or Buckingham Palace. So it's not surprising that nothing brings two nations closer together than a gift from the fashion giant. This is exactly what Sarah Brown has banked on this week as she meets with new style icon Michelle Obama. Yep, that's right, Ms.Brown didn't take Cadbury chocolates or tea bags to woo the Obamas, instead she delivered a bit of Topshop for their daughters Malia and Sasha.

Sir Philip Green's key store launches in New York on 2nd April, but it's nice of Sarah to provide the first family with a sneak preview. The girls are only 7 and 9, and with such good international links already it seems they're on track to be style icons like their Mother.

wow, i'm starting to think that this is a little to much to fast for the girls now..there was just a post about how they just got a new play set..swing set or whatever yesterday. it's prolly just me, but i think they are starting to appear spoiled. i know this is not something that the obamas want for their kids but if not careful that is exactly what is going to happen. i just hope they stay grounded b/c i'm sure they know it's only for 4 years..if their dad is not reelected!! i would hate for them to have to adjust to being, just a senators kid..like that's a bad thing..okay i'm off the rant!!
