Selena Gomez, one of the most anticipated stars expected on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet, did us all a favour by showing up early and ending the style curiosity over what she'd wear. The star stayed true to her love of Atelier Versace by picking a white dress from the house accented with zippers and neon tubing at the neck, shoulders, and back. A sexy sheer slash straight down the middle provided a bit of sizzle, too. Do you like the bold embellishments and colour palette?

Billboard Music Awards: Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is on a hot streak, with the Billboard Music Awards as her latest reason to stun in something equal parts sexy and rocker chick. Her black-and-white Balmain jumpsuit featured an intricately woven texture and some serious all-over checkerboard print — which meant she needed only a pair of Givenchy heels and a bold red lip to finish. Perhaps it's the bleached pixie cut, being named No. 1 on Maxim's annual Hot 100 list, a little leftover inspiration from her Met Gala getup, or all of the above — either way, Miley knows how to make a red carpet statement these days. Do you agree?

Billboard Music Awards: Madonna

On the heels of her Met Gala appearance, Madonna is at it again at the Billboard Music Awards.

On the heels of her Met Gala appearance, Madonna is at it again at the Billboard Music Awards. The (first) Queen of Pop received the top touring artist award, and while she may have skipped the red carpet, her Givenchy Haute Couture outfit was certainly worth the wait. Dressed in some recognizable pieces courtesy of the aforementioned Met Gala, Madonna took the stage in a black fishnet dress, topped with a texturized, cropped, and feather-collared bomber jacket. But the look didn't end there. She wore it all cinched with a grommet-embellished wide belt and finished with thigh-high stockings, which were fastened with a garter belt. As for the last bit of accessories? She also rocked her monogrammed padlock choker, statement sunglasses, and black platform pumps. Did she nail it?

From Red Carpet to Afterparty: The Best Met Gala Quick-Change Artists

This year's Met Gala attendees gave us good reason to think two outfits are better than one.

This year's Met Gala attendees gave us good reason to think two outfits are better than one. And who can blame Ashley Greene for trading her dramatic Marchesa gown for something a little shorter come afterparty? Those iconic Met stairs (read: not ornate-dress friendly) alone could prompt an outfit change, but we think it gives this A-list set another chance to show off one more great look before night's end. Case in point: Allison Williams's surprising dark and sexy twofer, courtesy of Altuzarra. Or how about Madonna's Givenchy Haute Couture tartan and fishnets getup that turned into just fishnets all over? The beauty of seeing fashion's finest is actually seeing them at their finest, and that means outfit changes galore. Which stars were bona fide Met Gala quick-change artists? Find out right this way.

3 Reasons Madonna Was the Met Gala's Punk Queen

When Beyoncé arrived on the red carpet at last night's Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, we thought the show was over: Queen Bey had arrived fashionably late to fashion's biggest night, and she stole the show in custom Givenchy.

When Beyoncé arrived on the red carpet at last night's Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, we thought the show was over: Queen Bey had arrived fashionably late to fashion's biggest night, and she stole the show in custom Givenchy. But just around the corner, Madonna — perhaps the original Queen of Pop — seemed ready to take back her throne. Moments after Beyoncé made her way atop the staircase, Madonna showed up in a look so punk, we thought she might have ransacked the museum's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition to get all the materials. (Which, now that we think about it, would have been quite fitting.)

Also in bespoke Givenchy, Madonna had all the workings of true punk royalty. For the details on her look and her afterparty attire, find them here in this gallery.

Cutout Faceoff: Who Wore the Sexy Look Best?

In the past, punk felt a bit more synonymous with grunge than sex bomb, but last night's Met Gala was ready and willing to change that notion.

In the past, punk felt a bit more synonymous with grunge than sex bomb, but last night's Met Gala was ready and willing to change that notion. A slew of starlets stepped out in cutout gowns that flashed patches of skin for a sultry sizzle. Carey Mulligan toyed with the idea in a Balenciaga gown that revealed her waist, while Jessica Alba picked a sparkling Tory Burch number that put the attention front and center, courtesy of open patches above and below the bust. Miranda Kerr showed off most of her top half with a Michael Kors T-bar column dress, and Emma Watson felt the punkiest of all in a Prabal Gurung pick that looked slashed at both the shoulder and waist. So, when all's said and done, which sexy cutout look was your favorite of the night?

Met Gala: Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr took the sexy route at the Met Gala and showed off her supermodel figure in a custom Michael Kors black crepe gown. The revealing number featured sultry cutouts and a paillette bandeau. As for Kerr's punk twist? A metallic spiked Christian Louboutin clutch and a shimmery set of nail bracelets did the trick. Do you love Miranda's look, or were you hoping for something different from the gorgeous Aussie?
