Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones were just one of the adorable celebrity pairs at the 2013 Gotham Awards in NYC on Monday night. The two Parks and Recreation costars mingled with a crowd of film stars, including Gotham Award winners Michael B. Jordan and Brie Larson. Amy was at the event to support her boyfriend, Nick Kroll, who acted as the host for the evening. Other guests included Jared Leto, who accepted the award for best actor for his Dallas Buyers Club costar Matthew McConaughey. Jared called up Matthew on the phone when he took the stage and relayed Matthew's famous catchphrase, "Alright, alright, alright," to the audience. The big winner of the night was Inside Llewyn Davis, which won the award for best feature ahead of its theatrical release on Dec. 6. However, the big news of the night was director Lee Daniels reaction to the raucous crowd at the award show, telling them to "shut the f*ck up" when they were talking loudly over his tribute speech to Forest Whitaker. Lee reportedly wasn't alone in his anger with the audience as Julie Deply jokingly threatened to set herself on fire to get the audience's full attention when she was presenting a tribute to Before Midnight director Richard Linklater.
Last night, the stars were out to celebrate the launch of Kenzo's Kalifornia bag, and although we were on full It bag watch, we couldn't help but be distracted by the print party. Jessica Alba, in a graphic-print minidress with a textured hemline, and Fergie both framed their prints with black to let them pop. Rashida Jones showed she wasn't afraid of pattern in a fish-print dress, which she accessorised with a blue shoulder bag and white platform sandals. Three ways to wear print — but only one can be your favourite! Vote below.
Elizabeth Olsen, Rashida Jones, and Carey Mulligan treated themselves to a night out in NYC yesterday to celebrate the new Prabal Gurung collection for Target. Decked out in items from Prabal's line, they mingled with a crowd that included Analeigh Tipton, Olivia Thirlby, and the night's entertainment, Ne-Yo. They convened at Manhattan's Pier 57 for a carnival-themed evening full of carousel rides, a Tilt-A-Whirl, and various games and food trucks. The girls had a chance to shop the collection before it arrives in stores and online Feb. 10.
We were on the red carpet at the bash, and had a chance to catch up with Rashida, Elizabeth, and Prabal himself. Elizabeth was excited about Prabal's designs, but not about the rides — carnival rides apparently give her anxiety! Rashida, meanwhile, gushed about her friend Prabal. Stay tuned for more from the stars later today on POPSUGAR Rush.
Glamour's production of "These Girls" brought many famous faces out to Joe's Pub in NYC last night. Olivia Wilde had boyfriend Jason Sudeikis by her side when she wasn't delivering her monologue on stage, and Amy Poehler met up with friends inside the event. Amy posed with Rashida Jones and Aubrey Plaza after working on They Came Together earlier in the day. Connie Britton, who has the season premiere of Nashville hitting the small screen tomorrow, mingled with Carla Gugino while America Ferrera chatted up Rachel Dratch and Glamour's editor in chief, Cindi Leive. America and Amy kicked off their week at the event following a weekend in upstate New York, where they attended the wedding of Amber Tamblyn and David Cross. Also on hand for the funny evening were Meryl Streep's daughters, Mamie and Grace Gummer, Alexa Chung, Coco Rocha, and Ari Graynor.
When Glamour hosted its "These Girls" event last night in NYC, it was these girls: stylish attendees like Alexa Chung, Rashida Jones, and Coco Rocha, who stepped out to join fashionable forces and show off their Fall styling game. Just in time to inspire your own seasonal looks, Alexa and Rashida offered perfect plays on Fall-appropriate party dressing, with Alexa in a sweet printed dress, tights, and loafer combo, and Rashida keeping it more classic in a fit-and-flare LBD and Valentino heels. For a more alternative route, we'll look to Coco, who decked out a pair of tartan trousers with a velvet blazer and booties for a cool-girl play on prep-school styling. As for the other notable arrivals (like Olivia Wilde in a slick leather look), you'll have to click through — then be sure to tell us who gets your vote for best dressed of the night.
Gwyneth Paltrow shared a laugh with her friend Amanda de Cadenet at a launch party for her new show The Conversation in NYC on Sunday. Diane von Furstenberg played host for the evening, throwing the star-studded bash at her studio. Other celebrity attendees included Diane Kruger, Rashida Jones, and Malin Akerman. Amanda was feted by some of her other A-list friends like Demi Moore and Rachel Zoe at another kickoff event in LA earlier last month.
Amanda has been able to get many of these big names to stop by her show for intimate chats already and TrèsSugar recently talked to her about the project. She says The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet is for "women's women" and she revealed that the area some of her subjects are most wary to talk about is their relationships. In fact, at the soiree when asked if she could interview anyone, who would it be, Gwyneth replied, "My husband. It would be really cool. I'd ask him a bunch of questions."

The Artist was the big winner of the night, taking home four honors, including best picture and best actor for Jean Dujardin. Zac Efron joined the fun wearing Lanvin, while presenter Elizabeth Banks paused backstage for a photo op with Rashida Jones, and nominee Jessica Chastain chatted with Rosario Dawson. The cast of Celeste and Jesse Forever hit the Sundance Film Festival to show off their sweet movie on Friday. It's Rashida Jones's first screenplay, and she also stars alongside Andy Samberg in the project. On the red carpet at their premiere, the two gushed about working together, and Andy joked that if he was tasked with winning back an old love in real life, he'd probably revert to "d*ck in a box" tactics. Emma Roberts plays a pop star in Celeste and Jesse Forever and to get ready for the part she revealed that she channeled a little bit of Christina Aguilera in the "Dirrty" days, Britney Spears, and Ke$ha. We also chatted with Elijah Wood about his part in Celeste and Jesse and what it was like to see the The Hobbit trailer for the first time, which he said was "electrifying." Award season darling and The Descendants star Shaliene Woodley slipped in to see the movie, and later in the evening checked out Wiz Khalifa at the Bing Bar.
The Muppets shut down Hollywood Boulevard in LA yesterday for the world premiere of their new movie. Kermit the Frog was joined by his whole crew — Gonzo, Rolf, Animal, Fozzy, and newcomer Walter — arriving in a Jeep to kick off the green-carpet processional of stars and puppets. Miss Piggy followed closely behind in her own convertible, wearing Jeremy Scott and Louboutins, and blew kisses to the crowd. We talked to Piggy and Kermit about their return to the big screen, and the pair joked that this film brought them closer together.
We also spoke with some of the human stars including Amy Adams and Jason Segel. Jason said it was a dream come true to work with the Muppets and he plans on inviting all of them, including his puppet brother Walter, over for Thanksgiving dinner so they can reenact the landing on Plymouth Rock. Many of Jason's How I Met Your Mother costars also stepped out to support his latest venture including Alyson Hannigan, Josh Radnor, and Neil Patrick Harris, who has a small role in the film. Meanwhile, Amy spoke with us about the importance of making family films and working with the ultimate leading man, Kermit — stay tuned for more of our interviews with the cast in PopSugar Rush!
