Preview 2012's Biggest Trends and Beauty News

It's Annie from Bella Sugar, and as 2011 comes to an end, we're looking into our crystal ball to find out what's going to be big in beauty for 2012. It's shaping up to be another big year for celebrity fragrances, with Nicole Richie and Kanye West hard at work on the their first scent, but we can't wait to sniff what Madonna and Lady Gaga have in store. Word on the street is that Gaga wants to capture the scent of human blood for her fragrance, and as for Madonna, she wouldn't be Madonna if she weren't bottling it up in a package that looks like holy water. Nikki Manage doesn't have her own fragrance officially planned, but we're guessing it won't be long until she has one of her own. And even if she doesn't, 2012 is looking like her year. She has a new album coming out face of viva glam lipstick along with Ricky Martin and she's even designed her own nail polish collection for OPI. That's not sounding good, we don't know what does. As for trend, we're seeing a lot of wet hair and undone ponytail. Now, of the two, we're guessing ponytails probably going to be easier to wear. Look also for silver and gray eyes, pretty washes of color, and a lot of mint green. Not just in nail polishes but believe it or not, in lip gloss.
