As festival season is upon us, I have spotted a growing number of ladies sporting chunky boots as part of their Summer wardrobe. The heavy footwear may seem like an unusual choice for the warmer months, but it's a great investment that will see you through 'til next year. Amongst those sporting the trend is Dakota Fanning who was spotted in lace up Doc Martens on the set of her latest movie with a pair of bleached jeans. Ashley Tisdale also has some chunky boots which she recently wore with cut offs for a rock chick look. Brit girls working the trend include Fearne Cotton who teamed her floaty dresses with a pair at the Isle of Wight festival, and Agyness Deyn who added an edgy feel to her sparkly dress at the CFDA Awards.
