It was always going to be amazing, but Christopher Bailey brought London Fashion Week to a close with a bang last night as the traditionally British label came home. Ever since the homecoming plans were announced, hype has been building around this line and Bailey truly indulged in the Summertime with this pastel collection. There was plenty of sparkle as the classic trench was reinvented in metallic creating a much younger vibe. The penchant for nude shades continued too as the focus became the soft twists and knots in the luxurious fabric. Girls strutted down the catwalk to the sound of The Kooks in killer platforms and socks with military accessories. It came to an end with silver confetti raining down on the catwalk.
