Paris Fashion Week continued yesterday as Christophe Decarnin presented his latest collection for Balmain. The line stuck to his by now signature style with pointed shoulders, dramatic split gowns and plenty of sparkle. There was still a strong sense of rock chick to the pieces with a '70s edge. It was quite glamorous with luxury patterned fabrics and intricate detailing. He said the collection was inspired by an image of a woman "in an impeccable Balmain couture menswear pantsuit," and there were definite androgynous touches. What do you think of the Autumn line?
