Bold, look-at-me bright makeup is a key trend for this summer, and the look is set to get even more extreme for autumn/winter.
Proenza Schouler sent out models with bright blue eyeshadow, harking back to the 70s, and turning yet another beauty no-no into a trend.
But how will this translate to real life? Would you wear blue eyeshadow or is it still a beauty blunder in your books?

I already do, I got a really nice blue from Bnever2Busy (Beast, I think). That is absolutely gorgeous with my brown eyes.
1It's too unnatural looking. Plus, no one can do it like a profession can and make it last that way all day.
2of course I already do and I really like the way I look with this colour.
3I like blue liner more
4i've been playing with navy for a while and am really keen on trying more brights.
5Blue eyeshadow comes in many shades and you need to pick the right one for your complexion and eye color...the fairer the skin the brighter it should be...dark skin, wear dark blue...I wear a golden blue but only in the corners...
6for touch-ups on the go all you have to do is pack an extra eyeshadow applier dabbed in the shadow in a snack sized ziplock bag...stick it in your pocket or 'cleavage' if ya have it, and go!
Maybe.
7I agree with Mesayme, you need to pick the right shade of blue. I rarely wear blue e/s but when I do it's turquoise because my eyes are dark blue, so it contrasts. A lot of other blues wash me out though.
